my hysteria persists

It’s because of your last post, where you expressed how you didn’t know why people threw in an abuser claim towards Delilah and Sam. I don’t know about Sam, that’s crazy that people think they abuse Sprout, but I do get where people come from with Delilah --I don't agree with this, I just understand where they're coming from to an extent...if that makes sense

I hope this message doesn’t come off as me trying to debate or refute your claim, but rather just personal curiosity. I will just explain my reasoning and arguments and then ask the question, just for a little bit of context. 

I get what you mean with your last post: People think that she mistreats the Toons in a variety of ways or actively encourages their overworking and mental issues, but it always depends on the person’s wacky theories. 

What I’ve seen usually, is that people say she only uses them for her own personal, shady goals that involve the Ichor Operation –which is, she wants to make them Twisted. 

After all, throughout the lore, she has done and been silent towards actions that can be considered abusive, as in, being silent about overworking and executed actions that spark ethical issues.

To list the actions that she has done: 

The natural isolation of Event Toons, which, now with the new lore of memories and how important it is to be congruent, there might be a fair explanation for it, but in the letter itself in game that explains this situation, there are ichor drops throughout the paper that talks about this natural isolation, heavily implied to be tears by its shape and from Bobette by the location this paper was located –but this last part might be a little bit of a breach, it could be any-Toon. 

The creation of Toons in the first place, knowing all the risks and probably accounting for these metaphysical awareness issues that Sprout and Brusha present. 

But, if I share my perspective on this, I think of the Toons as service dogs: All puppies are taken into training, but some are more fit into the role than others. Ones that are not are put into adoption, and the ones that show the personality to be of service are put to work. In the case of the Toons, this was probably what happened with Bassie. Everyone shows that they are fit for their role, it’s just the constant overworking that makes them crash –which, totally justifiable. Even the most sane person can crumble with overworking and high expectations.

This overworking is encouraged by Arthur, from what we have learnt from the lore.

And to further elaborate on this point, the lore hasn’t shown Delilah intervening in Toon’s overworking –besides Bassie, which many people interpret as her being complacent. This goes for Dyle too; we don’t know who’s idea was to make Dyle. 

This, for me, has two reasons. 

The lack of lore, and as you mentioned in an answer you gave me, that there’s an implication of Arthur having more power of decision than her. Seen by Sprout and Astro’s dialogue, maybe she’s also being overworked by Arthur. 

So, we can’t really know if she can change anything in that regard. 

My question, or questions, actually, are: What is your interpretation of the Event Toon’s isolation?, and, Do you think Delilah prioritizes profit over the wellbeing of Toons, and,

if this prioritization is influenced by her own concern or Arthur? To what extent?

If i may ask, whats ur opinion on how the lore has been developing since easter? Like, do you like how the writing is going with delilahs character or with some toons being somewhat aware of their existence as a semi-real thing? I love ur interpretation of the dw lore so thats why i wanted to ask (if thats ok-)
