You know, staying up late is such a dangerous thing. One minute you're thinking about raiding the fridge for a midnight snack and the next minute you're thinking about how we've all got two hands - and one can do almost anything and the other can barely hold a pencil properly. And I know people are ambidextrous but that's very few people, right? But I was that weirdo who always thought they were going to break a bone so practiced writing with my other hand. Is it legible? No. All that practice, wasted. @notoriousstarters
Do you ever have those days where you just need comfort? Like you just bloody crave it more than anything? Today was one of those days for me. So, while my youngest was at school, I immediately took myself off to my favourite ice cream place, it has to be rum and raisin. I put back on my pjs as soon as I got home, made the most perfect cup of tea and curled up on the sofa with some classic British sitcoms. It's the small things that hold nostalgia that gives me the more comfort. If you're ever in this mood, what are your go to things to achieve the ultimate level of comfort? // @notoriousstarters
So recently in an interview I said something along the lines of how I wasn't ready to make any new music. It's just a hobby for me, my real love had always resided within the acting community. What had just been an off hand comment seems to have sparked outrage in my fanbase. It's like I've told them I want their first born or something. Have you ever stumbled into something and realised it just wasn't for you despite the popularity of that thing? Sometimes you have to value your own peace of mind otherwise you'll lose your sanity. I'm not saying never, but for now I think pop Selena needs to rest. @notoriousstarters
i kicked off the planning of my 27th birthday bash literally the day after my last year's party! i know, i might be a tad bit insane, but i'm all about those tiny deets that make everything pop, even if it drives me crazy sometimes. but when i see the final setup and it's all on point, it's pure magic. i'm seriously nuts about candy, like it's my ultimate weakness, so picking a theme this year was a piece of cake (or should i say, candy?). and yes, i'm already doodling up ideas in my head about next year's party. can't help it - it's in my DNA. speaking of birthdays, what's your take on celebrations? do you prefer the grand and glorious style, or do you lean towards a more intimate gathering with just a few dear friends? / @notoriousstarters

Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing the whole mom thing right and then my kids will come into my bedroom with a tray of breakfast that they've tried to cook. The pancakes might be a little burnt, and the coffee very cold. But it's the attempt that counts considering the oldest one is only 12. She's definitely the ring leader behind the cooking. That's how my day started before heading to set. How's everyone else doing? @notoriousstarters
I think a lot about why guilty pleasures is a thing. Maybe we're ashamed to like it? Or, it's not like us to like it? Then I got thinking about those shows and movies consider cult classics or get popular later on compared to when they first came out. If you have any of these, do share as I think it'd a really interesting way to actually know people. I promise, I can share back if wanted. || @notoriousstarters
Is it normal for a cat to play fetch? Mine has a weird obsession with this little green ball that he carries around in his mouth and just drops by your side, begging you to throw it. It's all cute until I don't throw it and he start attacking me instead. If you have a pet, do they have any odd quirks that makes you question their sanity? // @notoriousstarters
——- Could go on about why i love this time of year for the obvious spookiness — could even talk about my recent film. however, i think i want to ask how you spend your halloween, if you do something with it. do you watch things and eat candy ? do you dress up ? what do you like to watch ? it's coming and i want all the info and possible ideas. ( @notoriousstarters )
just escaped back to the uk after a rather ambitious attempt at surfing in portugal—where, as you might guess, every other sun-seeking brit lands up, as well. thought i’d break the mold a bit by not just lounging about but actually taking on the waves like a local. suffice to say, the atlantic had other plans for me. not only did i spend more time wiping out than standing up, but i also managed to turn a vibrant shade of lobster red, despite all the spf 50 i slapped on. it was a stark reminder of why i usually prefer the predictability of our often gloomy, yet comforting british weather over these sunny escapades. plus, nothing like repeatedly bailing in front of seasoned surfers to reinforce my appreciation for a quiet, crowd-free existence back home. anyone else ever ventured out of their comfort zone on holiday, only to regret it almost immediately? / @notoriousstarters

Have you ever jumped down the rabbit hole of your own fandom? It's a dark place sometimes. Recently discovered someone drawing fan art of me as snail. Now I'm all for creative expression like, but I thought I'd be something a little nicer to look at. Nothing too majestic — though I would love it, I'm not horse mateial, but like at least a frog? A snail feels like a mild insult. Anyway it got me thinking about how we all perceive ourselves and how it's likely much different to how the world visualises us. If you were an animal, what do you think you'd be? @notoriousstarters
Say what you want about me, but I was so real when I wrote "August slipped away into a moment in time" because where the hell did that month ago? Granted, I was touring so maybe that's why I feel like everything has passed by so quickly, but it's basically Halloween, which means it's basically Thanksgiving, and basically Christmas so New Year's is just around the corner. Truthfully though, I love fall so I'm excited for the seasons to change. Is anyone else excited for the pumpkin spiced goodies to start hitting the shelfs or am I just lame? @notoriousstarters
call me mother nature because apparently i brought some extra shitty weather to the uk. it sucks all around and i didn't even get to do anything fun so it's safe to say that i'll be avoiding outdoor shows around this time of year over there. probably will be avoiding that show in particular, too, cause none that was it but that's some tea for another day. the up-side is i'm heading back to new york now and have my eyes all over the 2 for 1 broadway tickets happening now. the only struggle is which to go to first. i've got my eyes on a few but open to suggestions, too, so hit me with them. @notoriousstarters
i got hit by a massive wave of nostalgia last weekend and decided to dig out my ancient gaming console from the depths of my closet. i was all set to relive my glory days, where i was pretty much the king of pixel-worlds, or so my memory insisted. i was ready to jump back into my favorite old-school game, the one i always bragged about dominating back in the day. the theme music started, and man, it was like a high-five from the past. but then, reality check—big time. i couldn’t even get past the tutorial level. seriously, it was like my thumbs had forgotten how to game. i might have yelled at the controller a few times (totally the controller’s fault, right?). after a humbling hour of what i can only describe as ‘epic fail gameplay,’ i had to laugh at myself. was i ever really the gaming wizard i remembered, or has time just painted a way cooler picture in my head? has anyone else revisited an old hobby or skill only to find out you're not quite the expert you remembered? or maybe you've tried to rewatch a favorite movie and realized it hasn't aged well? what’s something you’ve revisited from your past that made you go, 'was it always like this?' / @notoriousstarters
Do you know what's weird? When you have to call up your management and tell them you're booked for a project, but can't tell that what that project is. That was me with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Tim slipped me the script while we were working on Wednesday, I pulled over 10 minutes into my journey home and read the entire thing — I guess I have always been a little impatient. My management thought I was loosing it, but look at how well it worked out. I can't wait for the release and to see what people think of Astrid. I think she'll shock a lot of people. How about you? Are you working on any passion projects I should be on the look out for? @notoriousstarters

——- So for those of you that know what brat summer means, hope you had one and i'm officially jealous. if you don't know — ignore that. instead tell me how you're preparing for the upcoming fall time, because i'm so ready for it myself. i actually rather love the fall time. ( @notoriousstarters )
The fact that there’s only three shows left on the European leg of the Eras tour actually blows my mind. At the start of summer — I knew this moment would be coming. Even though I had four months to think about it. Now that’s it’s finally here — don’t know what I’m going to do with myself when I’m back home. I mean, the obvious answer is to relax but what do you mean I won’t be on stage every weekend? Not very demure and not very cutesy. @notoriousstarters
