I honestly think that my favorite tiny moment of this episode was -- not even Scully most likely sexting Mulder in a diner so he would stop looking at his phone! -- but the fact that her smart house has continued a running gag of how “Fox” is such a weird name, thereby calling him “Scott.” Also, I would like to reach out into the past to tell Past!Tahlia that everything is going to be FINE.

In middle school, my pre-Internet-fandom fandom best friend and I had an elaborate set of inside jokes set around "Track 16" aka the cut on the OST where Mulder and Scully almost make out in the first movie, before she is conveniently stung by a bee. I want to go back in time and tell her it will be all right. Possibly. I’m not sure. This whole season is going to turn out to be a dream and I’m going to be so disappointed.
