at the moment i'm kind of stuck on the movie wall in viceland i think it's funny considering the boost where jay gets scared of the PSA but sleeps next to a salò poster. i do like to imagine they've seen every movie on the wall even if it's just set dressing for the audience, and that they have a literate-adjacent grasp of film even if it's really immature, bc it's like 20% of their lives. like they would have something to say about every movie on the wall and theoretically the two of them together could have a (crazy, unproductive) conversation with another person about them. i mean they don't, and won't. but i feel like they'd talk the same way about restaurants. like they're sleeper guides to toronto if you're fucking crazy and stupid and want to watch two queens argue. i'm saying fucking nothing but it's 4AM

spent some time with old friends did a couple life maintenance things that i avoided for [REDACTED] amount of time, four day work week coming up, rewatched a bunch of ntb. really needed a little cleanse but i feel good coming back.... i knew i was going to burn out a little bit BUT. i'm managing it

think I'm gonna take a couple day break from reading fic/analysis/tumblr in general and rewatch everything....I'm finding myself too concerned with fanon lately and feel like I'm losing my own voice a little bit. I must return to the source
