Bringing this back up.

“Don’t deny it, young lady.  I could hear you all over the house.”

My sister cried and cried until her tears were all gone.  All I could do was to hold her and promise to stay with her and be a good father to the child I’d made inside her.

My brother was pretty freaked out when I told him I was pregnant.  But give  him credit… he stayed by me, all through my pregnancy… he was there when our son was born and actually cried when the nurse let him hold him.

Looking at the smile on my daughter’s face, I decided to let them be.  How many people spend their lives looking for happiness?  No, I couldn’t take this away from either of them.  Let them enjoy being young lovers together.
