the bigb and grian sideplot is very funny because its very clear its a romantic sideplot but theres no actual romance happening so instead it just seems like an awkward first date with some adultery mixed in

I could almost see Pearl’s pupils growing large as she entered Silly Mode as soon as Tango dropped the soup. Wow she really loves soup. 

grian and scar get into a petty fight which leads to scar deciding to sleep with his "real" soulmate, aka the jellie pandas in the pit outside. ok. grian's fine with that even if it's a little colder than usual. that is until, evidently, a panda decides to settle on top of scar and grian begins to feel pressure on his chest. without the physical presence of the panda it feels almost like intense anxiety and not for the first time grian curses scar for those stupid fucking pandas, fighting with himself on whether he attempts to drag scar back inside to make it stop or remains stubborn. (the stubbornness loses.)
