Something like this would be so colossally helpful. I'm sick and tired of trying to research specific clothing from any given culture and being met with either racist stereotypical costumes worn by yt people or ai generated garbage nonsense, and trying to be hyper specific with searches yields fuck all. Like I generally just cannot trust the legitimacy of most search results at this point. It's extremely frustrating. If there are good resources for this then they're buried deep under all the other bullshit, and idk where to start looking.

If I ever made a fangame it'd take place in the spirit world with you the player being someone that had been mistakenly taken there. Ghost types would be the primary type but many would look different being in this realm/you'd get to see their "true" forms instead of the phantom visage many have to take in the living realm. The distortion world would also play a part since it's "closer" to the spirit world and also because giratina is cool

#one day maybe I'll draw stuff for it but I have a lovehate relationship with pokemon #love the heart of it and so many things are so cool but the games themselves have been losing me for a pretty long while

the pokedex says the thing on its head is an antenna that captures signals from the spirit world but in my heart of hearts I know if you smack it it makes a ding noise

#I'm pretty sure its intentional too. Dusknoir's design is reminiscent of a doorman or bellhop uniform #and it transports spirits back to the ghost realm
