I know you consider yourself a beginner, your models are really cool!!! I was wondering if you’d be up for sharing any tips or personal rules you follow when coloring/texturing? I love the style of it and want to try it out‼️ For skin and clothes

and when it comes to tips, i am the WORST person to ask cause my usual tip is "fuck it, just ball"

The only rule i have is that i cram everything into a 512x512 pixel canvas and hope to god that i manage to UV unwrap everything well so the sizing of the pixels dont fuck up.

I always texture in blender with the normal brushes they have and i switch opacity ALOT! I start doing the shadows of the texture and then i move on to highlights!

Here ytou can see that i made the darker shadows in blue, following that, i put on highlights and then details!

and here.... yeah i just... cram it all in...🤟‍😁

Heres a good example! I start w shadows on the body, and now (or later... im... gonna play minecraft now) im gonna do highlights.
