Lin kuei trio and what dog breed do they own

I think he'd be against having a dog in the lin kuei because to him they're loud and stupid most of the time, with not enough skills to compensate for that

He'd change his opinion after a while though

It all started when he went on a mission on his own. Easy and not unusual, it went as planned. He quietly took out his enemies and didn't waste time, like he thought others were doing

But then, when on his way back to the lin kuei, he noticed something was following him. Obviously he was wary- did an enemy slip from his quick kills and followed him all the way here?

He pretends to not notice it, to not alert them

Next thing the dog knows, bi han disappeared after taking a turn and now he's behind him

Bi han doesn't soften even when seeing it's a dog, more exactly a husky. He's merely relieved, but still annoyed

He just grumbles before making his way again, only to hear the animal following him. He abruptly stops and side eye the dog

"What?" He spits out like it's an actual person. "Stop following me." He orders, as if it could understand him

Spoiler alert, the dog didn't listen and kept following him, despite that the grandmaster threatened it a couple times

He's not cruel enough to hit a dog though, despite how loud huskies are, so he'd only be like real grumpy on the way back. He lets the dog sleep outside though at first

But then, maybe a few days later, the husky just barked like really loudly from just outside the clan. Not just some "pointless howling" as bi han would think, but actual, prolonged barks that definitely were aggressive

He came to scold the dog to stop making such loud noises before seeing what it was barking at- a couple of warriors from the enemy side he took out on his mission a few days prior, seemingly having had planned to infiltrate

Obv he took them out, but he reluctantly had to admit the dog "wasn't so useless after all", as he said

He'd claim he hates the dog and would rather skin him for diner but still gives food to it

Like the dad that didn't want the pet and ended up being the one that likes it most

He'd never admit he loves the dog though, he's stubborn af

Kuai liang

I think bro likes dogs too. I mean, they're loyal to their family and help people so he's chill with them

Though he wouldn't be the one to actively search for one. He's more preoccupied with how to handle a whole clan, how to find and train recruits than to look for some type of animal

Now he has one. How though, if he didn't seek for one? Well, it's simple- harumi had the dog, and they got together so that means he got to see it

It's a Saint Bernard. Kuai does fw dogs anyway, and those are like typically known to be friendly (cue to this dog breed literally saving people from avalanches). Tbh he wouldn't be bothered much so

If it's winter, the dog definitely seek out for kuai liang to actively stay close and cuddle with him, as he's pretty much a heater atp

Like when you already have a pet and then get a partner but your pet starts liking your partner more. Yeah, that's definitely what lowkey happened

But he loved the dog even more after a particular event

See, at his wedding with harumi, we all know the shirai ryu got attacked by the lin kuei

But still, the Saint Bernard went to them as soon as he heard the enemies coming, barking and even biting at them before they could reach to them quietly

It gave kuai liang and harumi time to prepare for the fight instead of being surprised by the lin kuei now, and that would've given them leverage for attacks

So for that, kuai liang was thankful. There's no doubt he'd pet the dog for protecting them later, as he's definitely a family man. And apparently, the dog is too

Tbh I think he'd have a bloodhound

Why? Well, they're useful to track people down. I'm pretty sure the lin kuei could use that to their advantage when searching for enemies

Oh and also alerting where they are to everyone nearby with loud ahh barks

I think tomas would like practically any type of dogs anyway, but if he had to choose one, it'd be a bloodhound

I hc that his past family had one for hunting. I mean the animal can fully sniff its way to their prey so that's like really useful for hunting

How he got it? Well, being in the shirai ryu means he had to find people. Obv a dog isn't considered that but I'm getting to it

So here he was, after another day of training in new recruits, now doing errands. Let me tell you being second in command is not the most restful job alright

So yeah he was doing errands, until he heard some aggressive growling from nearby. Confused, he carefully went to see what it was about

That's when he saw a bloodhound showing their teeth to another stray dog that got too close

The man did wonder why it was aggressive. Most of the time, animals are defensive when they got food or kids to protect, but the dog seemed to have none of those

The other stray dog leaves with a growl. That's when tomas approaches- not too close, he'd like to keep his fingers on his body, thank you

He quickly sees what it is about when noticing the injury on the dog. Right, the dog is hurt. Therefore why he growls at anyone that comes close

In a strange way, it reminded him of himself when he was first taken in in the lin kuei after losing his family. He doesn't know why

Tomas knows it's stupid alright. The shirai ryu needs results, not a wounded dog to add to their problems. But his compassion got the better of him, and he set a piece of food nearby the dog. Close enough to mean it was for the stray dog, but far enough to not be threatening

He didn't think he'd see it again after a few days, somehow having found his trace back to the shirai ryu. This time though, smoke took his time to patch up the dog as best as he could

Bi han thinks he doesn't get jealous (he does). Whether it's romantically or not, he can be pretty jealous of others

When he was a kid, he was jealous of kuai liang because he was his dad's favorite, when he had to struggle to get his approval because bi han was expected a lot by being the heir, being trained harsher than others

In a twisted way, I think the cryomancer was jealous of tomas too, because despite the hard training, he remained human

In friendships and relationships too he gets jealous. If he's with someone and he sees them talking to someone else and seemingly having more fun, he'd try to brush it off

They're probably incompetent, or stupid, or even both anyway. But he can't help feeling like the little kid that's been dismissed for someone else again, in the back of his thoughts

I'd imagine you to be like his friend/ally, or partner, whatever just close to him. It'd be worse if the person you were seemingly having fun with was one of his brothers

The ninja wouldn't just up and say he's jealous, but it'd show. He'd train harder, snap commands and give colder glares, especially to his brother if it was the person you were with

He'd concentrate on frustration because he doesn't want to face that he hates feeling like this. Not when he wants to be the first in your thoughts just like how you're so often plaguing his thoughts, not when he wants you to care just as much as he did for you

Worse if you're not even in a relationship. Like, he's not yours and you're not his, but why is he still feeling like this? This gnawing feeling of jealousy, of wanting to show how he is better. Physically, in sparring, in leading, in bed too-

So with the person you were having fun with, repeatedly I suppose though ig, the warrior be brutal

Maybe even spar deliberately harsher to prove he's the one you should choose, even if that's stupid

He'd be mad at you too, but he can't help but feel fond of you still, even if he dislikes how weak it makes him feel

"Do not make me repeat myself" he states, eyes narrowing. He was not in the mood- he's been hiding how he felt for so long and the tension was about to blow

You asked if it was about the person you were having fun with. He was talking to you as you land a strike

"Who else?" He says like it's obvious, making a counterattack by grabbing your arm and landing you on the ground. Before you can get back up, he blocks you, his hands on each side of the floor beside your arms

"Are you jealous?" You ask, a grin creeping up your face as you had realized he was jealous

"Don't be foolish. I'm merely concerned for your taste" the cryomancer spits out, looking at you. He narrows his eyes before his hand comes to remove something you had on your shirt, dusting it off as if you were too precious for dirt with cold precision that somehow made you feel warm with the closeness

The tension, the looks, the unspoken words.. it all spoke volumes. You saw it, and he did too

My jinx

It's no secret for anyone that jinx had a troubled past

However, there was once a time. A time when jinx was powder. A time when jinx was powder's shadow, and not the contrary. Although both cannot quite erase the other, as it is a part of her

But it was a long time ago. Although, there wasn't a day she didn't think about the past. It haunted her like crows hunt their preys: a lot

She spent an okayish childhood despite the conditions in the undercity to say the least, loving but people didn't really understand her. Her sister and vander always cared for her, but none of them could get her really

You were an old friend of hers. She'd spend so much time with you- play fighting, pretending to be unruly pirates at sea, making potions out of mud and oil- you both truly cherished your time together, like a warm memory of summer seeping through the cold days of winter

But it all came to an end, or at least temporarily so, after the incident (yk what I'm talking about). She went with Silco, and you two got separated for so much time

No more child play, no more stargazing.. no more feeling serene in your arms, somehow. Like you didn't judge her. Like you loved her for just her

Sometimes, when her hallucinations get bad, sometimes, an hallucination of you pops up. Quiet, unlike the loud voices. Simply a soothing presence to ground her to reality

It sometimes happens, and those times, the girl finds herself momentarily perplexed. Why were you so comforting for her when everything seemed so loud

But you were here too. You saw both powder and jinx, and loved both of them. You didn't try to "fix" her, or enable her impulsive/sometimes violent behavior. You just accepted her for who she is. She doesn't need someone to change her, she needs someone to see all parts of her, amazing or ugly, and want to stay and love her. Not "despite" who she is, but because of who she is

When jinx saw you again for the first time in years, she momentarily froze. It's like the world stopped for a second. It felt all so fast yet so slow at the same time

She'd want to say she was relieved to see you, but.. she was conflicted. She really thought you were another hallucinations of hers. Like the scene where jinx reunites with vi, all heartfelt and touching

She still feels conflicted though. You- you abandoned her! How could you? She wanted to stay forever by your side, and you.. left her!

She broke away from you after a moment

"You-you abandoned me! You left me- like all of them!" Jinx snapped, her hand aiming for her machine gun. She wasn't thinking clearly- her thoughts were drowning her into this haze where she kept thinking she was alone, even when there was people that cared about her

The girl often isolates herself when she feels.. weak, again. Like that little kid scolded by her older sister. She wasn't a fighter, she wasn't strong enough. At least, that's what she thought. She didn't see her strength in her intelligence, how she builds gadgets

But now, you were here. Another face that left her after what happened, one way or another

But you were patient. You didn't expect her to trust you again that quickly. You didn't press her into doing so either, just leaving her time to think

It went on for weeks. Months. Maybe even over a year. But you stayed- everytime she tried to push you away, everytime her emotions got the best of her, you stayed. Not because you had to- jinx knew you could leave anytime you want, you weren't forced to stay. But you did, for some reason she couldn't understand

You'd frequently come to her. Just to hang out- mostly staying in the same room as her as she tries to figure out why you're still here

But over time, your old friend learned to trust you. You were the best person she ever met, and you thought she deserved the kindness you give her- so maybe, you were right

With each hangouts, she felt herself be accompanied by the same fondness she once held when looking at you when you were kids. Sure, sometimes she'd try to push you away, but you kept coming to see her, and see her only. Not to convince her of anything, scold her, guiltrip her- no, you just came to hangout, weirdly enough

It all broke down to one night, when you two where spending time together laid on a rooftop, looking at the stars. Not as bright as before because of pollution, but still there

Jinx looked at you- really looked- and felt an odd sense of affection. This was calm, quiet, and she remembered how safe she felt when being with you as children

Your friend looks away, but she leans her hand closer to yours, a signal for you to hold it...

I think bi han's room would indeed be very tidy

I mean he's considered a control freak, ofc he'd be one of those people that keep their rooms extremely cleaned

However, I think he doesn't spend as much time in his room, but mostly outdoors or in his office

Plus the dude doesn't have much time to spare with his grandmaster's duties and all ts, but he'd still make an effort to keep it tidy

So I'd say his room is neat for sure, but definitely doesn't feel welcoming or comfortable. Like those ikea rooms that look fine ahh but it doesn't feel like anyone even stays there

Definitely cold and with blue (ofc), with books on the shelves and strangely some plants. Not much trinkets there except practical stuff, like weapons, paperwork and masks

Overall pretty cold and effective. Distant, even if I wouldn't know how to explain this

Though the plants are being watered. And anyway, the ninja probably picked some low maintenance knowing he wouldn't have much time taking care of them

I just can't bro I saw people say his mother loved gardening and I found it so beautiful. And we all know he loved his mom so much so that's where his affection for plants/flowers/gardening came from. It felt like one of the rare things he had that made him feel a little more at peace, knowing how he used to garden with her

And for him, it's probably the only moments of respite he had. I think he's been trained from like a really early age to become the next grandmaster instead of being raised

Kuai liang

Idk why but just imagine kuai liang fighting with bi han or something when they were younger and accidentally make a hole in the wall and then instead of fixing ts up this dumb ahh just rearrange his whole room to hide this without being suspicious (ex moving his shelf to hide it etc)

And then his dad come in and congrats him for being responsible and cleaning his room and all that shi

Yeah I just see that happening for some reason, anyway. 'Till this incident he kept shelves and shi the way they are

He doesn't like much change- when he had to change blankets because his got burnt to flames after he had a nightmare, he was devastated

Took a week and more to get used to his new blanket WHILE complaining about missing the other to his brothers

I hc Tomas is an absolute nerd so

He has like collections of things that look random to others. Like card packs- like a lot. He just loves to make them appear and disappear in smoke like a silly magician

This guy was a hunter, I'm pretty sure he got all sorts of weapons for all sort of animals to hunt. He doesn't really have to hunt anymore, but he likes having that souvenir of his past family. Even if when people see the weapons they start sweating bruh

Yk the expression smoke and mirrors? Yeah, idk I feel like he feels connected to the saying

Maybe because he has costumes in his closets- right, he says it's just practical ninja clothing, but dude just like dressing up. And acting, too, as we saw in the scene with him and madam bo. Ofc he acts like a little shit sometimes

Then she'd come up to you. Don't ask how, she will just do

The fighter does find you though, jumpscaring you
