Everything is different between them now. Louis complaining to Daniel about the way he was portrayed as a deliberate liar in the book, meanwhile heβd been keeping tabs on him for almost his entire life and withholding that information. Thatβs a pretty huge thing to hold over someone.
And he had to know Armand was in love with him, even if Armand didnβt realise it himself. He had to. Armand is so bad at hiding his big emotions. He told Louis and Daniel and Lestat he loved them so quickly. I canβt believe anything other than Louis knew all along and still brought Daniel to Dubai.
I still want Danlou to be friends and they can definitely get past it but I just love what this implies about Louis. Oh I bet you knew exactly what Daniel proposing to Alice was like. I bet Armand knew exactly what she was feeling. If anything, this makes me like Danlouβs relationship even more than I already did and I want my vampires to be more predatory.
