He was expecting some sort of over the top reaction, as per usual from the acrobat, but this was still an unnecessary display of affection Damian hadn't anticipated.
"Grayson!" Damian huffed, flustered but not yet pushing the older male off of it. "This is really unnecessary!"

[ baby boy for talia!! <3 ] "mother?" damian appears from sudden darkness, something he most likely inherited from his father, only to gingerly place a small hand against her hip, green eyes innocently peeking up. talia was one of the only people he felt he could be gentle with.
Talia was in her office room filing the latest update her scouting students in the League had briefed to her. As she saved the reports, she noticed her son's presence. Her flesh and blood, the product of her relationship with The Man behind the Bat. She could see his green eyes, which he donned from her, looking up at her. The Al Ghul proceeded to ask him in a quiet but kind voice:
"Did you had a bad dream son?"
As she picked him up and held him in her arms, while going to say:
"Whatever it is, please tell me so I can help you."
It was not often for her to show some form of vulnerability towards someone else. Being around him was always a hard task, given the place she was in, as well as the fight his beloved was carrying on in Gotham.

"I would like to consider it for my future." He responds, quite softly, as if considering her compliment for real. He may inherit the Bat and Demon mantle but this boy? He'd feel far more comfortable with a future set on some farm somewhere taking care of cattle and other animals. The nickname she gave him does illicit a bit of a brow furrow but he remains cordial, knowing he had came to her for advice. As much as he'd like to be bratty, he did owe it to be kind to Selina if he was coming to her for advice.
Damian watches on, green eyes focused as she takes the cat from him and plops him down on the scale. The number is...perhaps a little too high, but not in the dangerous territory. Damian bites his lower lip. Was he harming his cat through too much food? What kind of horrible abuser would do that? He says this, of course, inside himself, while the cat loafs on the scale and couldn't be happier.
"Never. If he displayed any sort of malady, I would promptly seek help. He is.....my everything." He grips the fabric of his pants, looking away from her. "I just wanted to be sure."

"Kyle? I have a question for you." He approaches Selina out of the blue, which was rare for someone so secluded and unwanting to seek out interaction. Even with loved ones. "I would consider myself very knowledgeable when it comes to the care and well-being of animals. But....you are also very knowledgeable about felines. Thus..." He looks away, only to hoist up the fat, fluffy body of Alfred (the cat) who meows in greeting at the woman. "Is Alfred too well fed? I have been feeding him the normal amount you should and yet....he is so rotund." The cat meows again, purring, but Damian looks very troubled. Like this was a matter of life or death: his slightly chunky cat, "But he meows at me at night. I am usually not susceptible to temptation and yet...he befuddles me with these meows. I give him treats.."

Mina had plenty of things on her mind right now, but even so, she was aware enough to notice that there was some little kid wandering around by himself. She didn't want to seem strange, but if she wasn't going to be the one that spoke up or did something, would anyone else?
This city seemed too busy and bustling to be consistently worried by every little guy that got dropped off. So, even as a battle chef in training, it was her duty to help where others couldn't or wouldn't!
With that in mind, she carefully approached the child with a kind smile on her face.
"Hey! Do you need help little guy? Are you lost? Are your parents around?" She leaned down, placing her hands on her knees to steady herself as she did so.
If this broad hadn't interrupted him, Damian was in the process of surveying the city, getting to know it. But here comes this girl, sauntering in like some kind of savior, as if he was some sort of lost kid. Some some of normal, lost kid.
Damian immediately scrunched his face in annoyance, a scowl forming without much thought. His posture tensed and he folded his arms over his chest, glaring at her for such a mistake.
"Don't you dare patronize me. I'm not some normal, thoughtless child. I'm beyond that!" He clarified for her. "I'm here on my own accord. I don't need anyone chaperoning me."
