It's been my brother Hoseok & I for as long as I can remember. Our parents died in a MVC so his friends took us in. Seconds after that, there was rumbling coming from outside the room. U-Kwon hurriedly placed the tape back in between my lips & left the room once again.
I hurriedly tried to swing myself back & forth to break the chair. When I felt myself going backwards, the chair broke & I immediately took the rope off of my hands & ankles. When I stood up, I felt myself getting dizzy but I knew I had to push through. As I went for the door while taking off the tape from my mouth, I heard footsteps outside. As soon as I reached for the doorknob, the doorknob itself started moving meaning there has to be someone on the other side. When the door opened, Ji Hoon was shockingly standing in front of me. We looked at each other for what seemed like forever, smiling at each other, until he grabbed my wrist & pulled me outta the room. As we bolted down the long hallway, we ran into a fork in the road. Not wasting time, Ji Hoon quickly pulled me onto the right side of the hallway. We ran & ran, our lungs soon tightening from lack of air.
"I-I don't think I-I can go m-much longer," I said, stopping to receive some air.

He pulled me once again toward the hallway & soon after, we came across another fork in the road. This time, I led him towards the left side. So once again, we ran again. Reaching the end of the hallway, we saw some light. I didn't wanna get my hopes up so we kept running. Our thoughts were soon interrupted when I slipped & almost fell into a 10 ft pool. I gasped when I soon realized a hand gripped my waist tightly. I turned to see Ji Hoon looking shocked as he looked forward, seeing the rest of his & my brother's gang taking slow steps towards us.
"Are we gonna do this the easy way..." Zico asked patiently.
"Or the tough way?" B-Bomb finished his question.

Out of nowhere, Suga pushed Jihoon towards the edge, causing him to loose balance & rapidly taking my hand in his.
As we were free-falling, my life flashed before my eyes & my body went into complete shock. When I felt the ice cold water penetrate my skin, I lost consciousness faster than expected.
3 months later.
3 months, that's how long I was in a coma. I woke up to a white room with 2 brown tables, 2 coffee brown chairs & the window was on my left side. As I got my senses back, I noticed the sun was casting its rays through the window making my eyes squint at the brightness. Noticing this, I noticed someone I guessed was Ji Hoon quickly closing the blinds. I smiled as he made his way towards me, giving me one of his signature hugs.
"How are you?" He asked.
"Better now," I said weakly.
Just then, a doctor walked in, smiled at Jihoon & myself, then spoke, "Oh thank goodness, you're awake."
"How long was I out?" I asked.
The doctor looked at his chart then back at me, "3 months."
I felt a shiver come down my spine, "3 months?! Are you serious?!" I couldn't believe it.
"When will she be able to go home?" Jihoon asked.
He looked back at his chart beforehand, "we'd have to do a few more tests to confirm & considering your state right now, I'd say tomorrow afternoon will be best."
As soon as he finished, Jihoon gave me a bone-crushing hug. I was so happy, I couldn't believe it; Jihoon & I are finally free from the gang life.
3 weeks later.
I hate that everything comes with a price. Somehow the rest of the Red Dragons & Black Tigers found out we survived & are one step ahead of us. I didn't know how I'd react to this. At first, I was shocked then felt scared. Scared because I didn't want them to find out about us and, more importantly, the fact that we're still alive. Knowing they might find us soon made me talk to Ji Hoon about packing up our belongings sooner than later.
Ji Hoon agreed & we hurried as we packed up our essentials when the doorbell rang. I felt uneasy as we looked at each other wondering if this was the end.
I slowly looked through the peephole & only saw my brother with his hoodie covering his head on the other side.
I slowly opened the door, "what are you doing here!?" I asked.
"What you doing with him?" He yelled.
"Hobi IÂ hate to break it to you but we love each other & we want out of this life," I said, already tearing up.
He sighed deeply then took out something from his pocket, "I know. You kept trying to tell me but I didn't wanna listen, I'm sorry. It's not enough but this will help you for at least 6 months."
He handed Jihoon a key to a safe in our childhood home containing $10K, "we won't be able to get in contact with each other for at least a few months but please let me know that you're safe somehow."
I couldn't help but immediately run up to him while crying, thankful he's helping us.
"Thank you," I whispered.
"You're my sister, family stays together," he said.
When we finished hugging, J-Hope walked towards Ji Hoon & shook his hand, "please take care of my sister."
"I will, with everything I have," he said then he held my hand.
We smiled at each other knowing our new lives will start tomorrow.
The following day.
As we left everything we ever knew, we felt like someone was following us. My suspicion was correct when we noticed a red pickup truck creeping up behind us. When Ji Hoon turned right, he looked into the rearview mirror to see if the red pickup truck followed. When they also turned right, we turned another right & they also followed. They sped up behind us so we hauled ass down the street. Ji Hoon was driving as fast as he could in our Hummer but they're already on our tail. Hoping to loose site of them, we quickly turned a slight left towards an alleyway then made another harsh turn left. We immediately shut off the engine & hopped for the best. It felt like hours but we restarted the car & left the city we knew.
