My name is Dr. Quinn Baldwin. I am a general doctor at Gardenview who treats all medical issues, no matter how insignificant, for humans and toons alike.
I wish to share my own personal experiences at this bizarre place as well as discuss relevant topics to the job I do here with those who may be interested in my own unique perspective.

[ Quinn opened the door the rest of the way rather dramatically, practically slamming it open with their coat fluttering behind them. They rushed over to Vee's side, assessing her current state. ]
I am here to assist. What is the situation?
Stage injury. She's fallen from her stage once before, but not like this.
(she was focusing on getting vee's stage jacket off her shoulder to assess the damage of her joint. Blueprints and a toolbox lay beside her)
She's never fallen from her high podium. Though with how her chassis is cracked around her head and shoulder, that has to be what happened. I wasn't there. I didn't know. I need to ask Arthur if he was there- where the hell is he-?

[ Quinn, seemingly in a rush, turned a corner, bumping right into Glisten. Hard. They took a step or two back, blinking a few times in disorientation as they looked up at him, readjusting their coat to hide as much of their appearance as they could. ]
ACK-!
[ He fell backwards, completely not expecting it, though luckily landing sitting rather than on his face. ]
Hey-! Be careful-! Huh?
[ He looked at them in surprise, catching a brief glimpse of part of them before they covered themself up again. Not enough to really tell who they were as much of just knowing he’s never seen them before. ]
Wait, who even are you?
[ They turned around. ]
You are the one who needs to be more careful. That could have gone significantly worse for you...
[ He crossed his arms arrogantly. ]
So you even know you could've cracked my face and you didn't pay attention! I suppose since you're lucky nothing happened I can let it slide.
[ Though he acted upset, he didn't actually seem terribly mad. He stood up again. ]
Where were you off to in such a rush anyway?
I was not aware you would be around here at this time, is all.

[ They paused for a while, sighing. ]
I do not remember what I was doing. Hm. How troublesome...
I enjoy taking walks around Gardenview when I have the time! Everyone knows that! Unless they're new. Which...
[ He tilted his head, studying them. ]
You seem to know who I am, which- of course! But I can't say I've ever seen you around. Are you new?

I suppose there is nothing wrong with getting some exercise.
[ They kept their back turned on him for now, pausing before they spoke again. ]
Is there not someone who you usually visit at about this time?
[ He cleared his throat, suddenly finding the wall rather interesting. ]
Not that I know of! Everyone else is usually busy at this time, so I have time to myself!
[ He turned back to them only to frown. ]
.. What, do I have a chip or something? Why does everyone keep looking away from me?
Really? Perhaps my time is off, then.
[ The eye of a toon glanced over at Glisten, looking him up and down before the toon turned their head away again. ]
No, you look acceptable.
I simply wish to keep my own appearance hidden for the moment.
Is that something you could understand?
Of course I do, I knew that! I’m always looking perfect. It just makes no sense.
[ He thought for a moment, and then sighed, ]
Yeah. Yeah I can understand that.
[ He tilted his head. ]
If it’s a fashion emergency, I could help you. No judgement!
Fashion?

[ They stopped. Most of their clothes were back at home, and that entire wardrobe didn't fit properly anymore. They did miss wearing proper clothing... ]
...Now that I think of it, yes, actually. I suppose I do not have any proper clothing...how unprofessional.
[ His eyes flashed with concern before he walked over to them. ]
Well we can’t have that then, now can we? What style do you prefer, do you know? I’m sure we can find something either from the costume department or I’d even be willing to let you borrow some of my things!
[ He smiled and gestured for them to follow as he continued down the hallway. ]
[ They glanced at the floor, then raised up their head enough to make eye contact with Glisten if he were to look at them, following closely behind. ]
I suppose I prefer things that are...comfortable, but will not get in the way. My...occupations require it. Oh, and make sure it is not ridiculous or flashy... I value professionalism.
I...greatly appreciate your assistance.
[ ...Huh. That last part sounded a little familiar. ]

[ He seemed a little disappointed at the mention of nothing flashy, but he supposed he could understand. Rodger dressed more like the described style after all! It gave him a good enough idea to run with. ]

There’s usually a bunch of spare clothes there! Since a lot of the other toons also dress pretty professionally I’m sure we can find something that’ll work!

I was not aware that there was a specific area to aquire toon clothing. What is this "department" usually used for? Special occasions?
[ They went silent for a little too long at the mention of a name. ]

Special occasions, yes, and also if anyone looses their signature pieces. I mean it would be a disaster, you know! It’d be like me without my bow! Completely and utterly wrong! So extras are kept somewhere they won’t get lost just in case. You wouldn’t believe how little regard children have for keeping their dirty hands away from other people, or toons… Ugh.
[ He winced at the thought of, presumably, past outfits messed up by guests. ]
Ah--um, you, too.
Ah, yes...I have heard of children attempting to eat Cosmo or pulling on a tail much too hard. I suppose it makes sense that such a thing would apply to clothing as well.
[ They tilted their head ever so slightly. ]
Is your bow not somehow a part of your body? How could you lose it?

[ His statement was punctuated with a twitch of said bow. ]
I will say I’ve been hearing about a lot of children biting toons for some reason. Or at least attempting to. Goodness, when did children get so violent…
Well, anyway, here we are!
[ He held open the door for them. ]
[ They shrugged, looking around as they walked in. ]
I struggle to comprehend children myself. They are so small, yet somehow capable of making messes ten times larger than themselves...at minimum.
[ They glanced over at a section with more feminine clothing, but opted to approach one with more gender neutral/masculine options instead. ]
Hm...
[ He followed behind, regarding the options with a contemplative look. ]
Yes, I can’t say I’m a fan of the messes they make, but they are a wonderful audience! So easily excited! Never have to worry about a tough crowd. Not that I can’t impress even the toughest crowd.
[ He added with a chuckle. He considered the outfits for a moment before turning to Quinn. ]
You know, I’d be better able to help find something that matches your colors if I saw your face. I’d hate to find something great only for it to be the completely wrong color for you…
Hm...perhaps for you, they may be. I have been told that I am not the most exciting person, though.
Do the colors truly?--actually, clashing colors would not make me look any less ridiculous...
[ Quinn sighed, not fully facing Glisten as they allowed their hood to fall off their head, exposing their leaves to the light for the first time in a while. Glisten could tell because of the look of their leaves - duller in hue than they should be and a little wrinkly. ]
...I suppose I will go along with it just this once.
Please, could you imagine if I tried to wear green with my usual style? Well.. hmm actually a shamrock green might not be too bad if I themed an entire outfit around it… Anyway, point being, it’s more important than you’d think! Plus, even if you prefer more neutral colors, it wouldn’t hurt to keep in mind accent colors!
[ As he took in their appearance - at least the little he could see - his eyes lingered on the leaves for a longer moment, thinking back on something, and then he turned his attention back to the task back on hand. He wasn’t going to ignore that detail forever though. ]
Ridiculous? What makes you think that? I don’t think you look ridiculous! Maybe covering yourself with that hood but desperate times call for desperate measures, I understand.

[ They sighed again, finally deciding to wear their lab coat properly. Or, at least, as properly as a toon could wear a human-sized lab coat... ]

Hmm, I suppose. It’s a nice thing to keep in mind regardless! For example you already have green in your color palette and based on the coat you already have you seem like a science-y toon? Green typically goes with that subject, does it not?
[ He started going through a rack of clothes, taking each one into careful consideration and separating them by some seemingly arbitrary means. ]
[ They raised their hand near the front leaf, refusing to touch it. ]
...Hm. I never thought of it that way.
I am not much of an artist, but I will see what I can find.
[ They seemed to be looking for pants or shorts specifically at the moment, huffing as they put one pair back, putting a hand near their face in troubled thought. ]
[ He looked over, tilting his head. ]
Is there a matter with those? They’d go well with your coat.
[ He grabbed a couple potential candidates for an undershirt and walked over to see what exactly they were working with. ]
I--well, you see, I--well--um--
[ They stammered, brushing non-existent dust off their coat as their eye darted about. ]
I have no clue why, but I have...a...
[ ...It sounded like they said something, but it was so quiet that Glisten couldn't hear. ]
Hmm? You’ll need to speak up a little, I can’t hear you.
I’m not here to judge, remember?
[ They huffed again, unable to look at Glisten as they finished, ]
A tail...
[ They kept fidgeting (was that what it was?) with their own coat. ]
Oh, is that all? Not a problem! There’s a couple toons with tails so there should be a collection already cut for one…
[ He looked around, going through some racks. ]
Maybe over here…
[ They hovered near Glisten, carefully watching him sort through the racks, subconsciously flicking the tip of their tail. ]
..."is that all"?
[ Quinn echoed under their breath. He had nothing to say about the tail? Why? Was it really that normal for toons? They were lost in thought, the back of their coat moving around slightly. They supposed a lot of toons had strange body parts like that when they really thought about it. ]
Aha! Yes, over here!
[ He gestured Quinn over to where he’d ended up. ]
I knew we had to have something!
[ Overall he really didn’t seem to mind their appearance at all. At least probably not in the way they would think. ]
[ He had to wonder why they seemed so concerned about. ]
[ They walked over, eventually finding and picking out a black t-shirt and a pair of brown shorts that matched their eye and stem. ]
I must say, there is a very wide variety of options. I am a little impressed, admittedly.
[ Quinn looked over at him. ]
Is there a changing room here?
Nice colors.
[ He hummed approvingly and pointed to the room in the corner. ]
Yeah, there’s one over there!
...You have been so kind to me.
[ Quinn complemented before going into the room, only coming back out when they had their new clothes on. ]

[ He clapped his hands together with a delighted smile and twitch of his bow. ]
And I do mean it. I don’t know what made you think you needed to hide yourself, but I assure you, you really don’t. You look great.
[ For just a moment, a glimmer formed in their eye, their mouth on the brink of a smile. They cleared their throat, putting their cold mask of "professionalism" back on, adjusting their coat again. Their tail raised up enough for Glisten to see it for the first time, though - a sprout resembling that of a baby apple tree - betraying that tiny spark of joy they felt at his words if Glisten knew enough about cats to recognize the body language. ]

[ Suddenly, a harsh crackling noise came from Quinn's general direction. They pulled a radio out of Hammerspace, catching something about Vee being injured. They put it back in in a rush, sighing. ]
We will have to continue this later. I have some important duties to attend to immediately, it seems.
[ They put their radio back into Hammerspace without even thinking too much about it, beginning to rush off. ]
hold on wait wait wait, has this toonification affected your memory? that is something to consider... like might memory be... the same? different? might it be stored and retrieved differently? like sometimes we just forget stuff over time but I'd hope not to forget a chunk of my life suddenly...
//i wonder if Quinn counts as an OA. Not part of the show, no implanted memory of the show (it would fucked if Dyle had the show implanted into his memory only for him not ever to be a part of it, it may just be a memory of him essentially watching the show), but likely memories that pertain to Quinns "character" and "role" that they give themselves or that is given to them being more readily available than other memories, with those being buried (selective amnesia?) or... forgotten/erased. Maybe being turned into a toon was what is making them go so hard on "I am a doctor or I am nothing"... maybe it was a problematic thought they already had while human and toonification, being turned into "characters" often designed and Raised for purposes, has made it that much worse...
Well, my memory of my childhood was always very spotty.
Though I could swear that there are a few things that I have forgotten...or were there? It can be difficult to tell such things.

you are a new toon to Glisten. there'd sometimes be a bit of ichor spill when someone was freshly made... so there's that excuse/explanation that technically is the truth even if circumstances are very different. Cosmo had some ichor on his hoodie when he was "fresh out the oven" as it were. Every toon had their own starting shaky steps as a toon even if mentally they know how to walk and talk and are often adults. Toons tend to be welcoming and this comes from a genuine time honored place.
I suppose that would make sense.
I need to begin thinking more. I am not thinking about the implications of both my situation and how others may see my disguise enough.

Açaí fruit can be absolutely delicious when added as a subtle note of flavor to a dish. Try not to eat too much at once - it can be immensely bitter and earthy, similar to the darkest chocolate one could imagine.
It also contains a high amount of healthy fats, fiber, and antioxidants, and contains 0 sugar.
Actual dirt is difficult for the human body to process, though. I would not recommend eating it.
