OLIVER LOGAN â 17 â JUNIOR â NAM TAEHYUN
Parents: Teddy Logan and ??
Hometown: Los Angeles, California
The question, what do you want to do when you grow up always scared Ollie, shitless. Directionless and frightened, those were two words Oliver would pin his entire being down to. Despite having one of the most loving men on the face of the planet for a father and a happy-go-lucky brother, no amount of positive reassurance could make Oliver see himself for what he truly was. That being said, it was hard for anyone to actually pin down what Oliver was.
At school, he often hid in the library to listen to his music or read. Classes left him feeling stale and uninspired, his peers left him feeling hopeless for the future and the daily trudge of life made things seem so ordinary. At this point, Oliver would take something, anything as an indication that there was more to life than what was presented before him.
He remembered flashes of life in California, always the unexpected around the corner, something new every day. No one expected him to be sensational because no one forced him to be the centre of attention. In LA it seemed as if the world was constantly moving, but in Rosewood with people placing an emphasis on Oliverâs future, his shy disposition, his lack of friends, his stutter; it felt as if everything he did was wrong and every wrong action echoed loudly throughout the universe. He could see the sadness in his dadâs eyes, he could hear the pity in Zenâs voice when he offered to introduce Ollie to his friends, he hated it all so much.
Clinically, he had been diagnosed with depression, but that word didnât mean much to him. He was the way he was, all he wanted was for people to stop taking notice, to stop sensationalising it and trying to help him out of his shelf. He was an observer by nature; not the observed.
positive; intelligent, unassuming, patient
negative; shy, timid, pessimistic
