I’m going to focus more on event this weekend and put my other threads on a brief hold. If anyone would like a vernal ball starter from Nelliel, feel free to like this post! It’ll range from a mini to a few paragraphs. I’ll have it uncapped for now. I’ll update it if I start to feel overwhelmed. Don’t be shy if wanting to discuss something out as well! 

It was her first visit to Lollipop Library and Nelliel couldn’t help but wander around. Every where she turned, she found more bookshelves to salvage through, escalators on every corner for (what appeared to be) endless floors of books, & sheep endlessly working hard to restock the shelves. She was amazed at how popular the library was. So many people inhabited every floor; like if a whole city lived right in the building. 

Strolling down a random aisle, she spotted a possible worker, putting away a few books. She couldn’t help but thank whatever sent her this stroke of luck. She needed help finding a specific book, but didn’t know which bookshelf, heck, which floor, she needed to check out first.

“ Excuse me -- Is there any way you could help me find a book? I’m at a bit of a... loss, you could say; on how to maneuver around in this place. ”

Seeing that I finished writing up all of the starters I owed, 

I’ll be calling it a night! I’ll be responding to the opens I’m tagged in most likely tomorrow night or sometime on Friday! ~ Same goes towards responses I get from my starters too. 

Reaching down to pick up the small black wallet, Nelliel looked it over quickly, taking note of the word, “DICE”, sewed upon the center of the wallet, with what appeared to be red thread. She opened the wallet, fortunately finding a photo ID of who appeared to be the owner. Taking a glance up and down the side walk, Nelliel searched for whoever would most likely resemble the owner. Hopefully they hadn’t gotten too far. She needed to be the good samaritan she was and make sure the owner got their stuff it; it was the best thing to do. 

A certain spiked hairstyle several feet away caught her attention, and though she didn’t want to be presumptuous, he was the only other fellow on the block.

“Excuse me!” She yelled, breaking into a run after the adolescent, her bag clutched tight in her hand along with the wallet. “Please wait!”, she yelled as loud as she could. “You dropped your wallet!”

Days such as these were the sort of days Nelliel wasn’t familiar with. Not only did she have the day off from work, but she had been so preoccupied with things over the past week, that she failed to notice she had gone and did all of her errands/chores for the next few days. She was able to gain a day of relaxation; the problem was that she was at a complete loss at what to do with herself. Sure, she could’ve just stayed in bed all day and call it a day. What a day wasted though. 

Eventually, she had decided it was time to venture this vast city and see what was in store for her. Stepping out of her apartment, she started wandering the streets of Stella City; the mere thoughts of adventure on the brain. 

Time had past, as she had seemed to walk around a decent portion of the city. She had wandered off course for a moment, having found herself in front of what appeared to be a large river. Looking around, she saw another figure nearby, looking down into the belly of the beast. She couldn’t help but hop towards the figure, wondering what he was looking at.

“ Is this your first time visiting the river too? It’s enormous! I haven’t seen such a huge body of water in ages. “

“ Who keeps playing Nickelback over and over?! “

Nelliel shook her head as the awful lyrics continued to blast through the speakers throughout Castella Cafe. She wasn’t about to let the current customers have to suffer through such obnoxious sounds. It was probably one of the worst bands she had ever listened to, and she was pretty sure 99.9% of the customers were annoyed after the first song ended. It seemed a certain barista thought it was funny to play their favorite band whenever the cafe was packed with customers.

She sighed, and started walking towards the back, wanting to change the music back to its original radio station. 

“ Yosuke, if I go back there and see you’ve been the one messing around with the music again, I’m not gonna hold back my strength on you! “

Nelliel didn’t mean to pry in the other girl’s business. She was simply strolling past the magnificent sight known as the fairy fountain, until ears perked at the sound of something quite delightful. She slowly walked the back of the fountain, hoping she wasn’t going to startle whomever was there. Green orbs finally rested on a pink-haired figure sitting on the edges of the fountain, singing what resonated as a lullaby. Not feeling quite sure at what to do, Nel decided to appear from the corner of the fountain, and approach the other with good intentions.

“ Excuse me, but your voice is very lovely. Have you ever thought of pursuing a career in singing? “ she blurted out, hoping she didn’t sound bizarre for asking.

Nelliel was able to always provide all she could, as the local barista at Castella Cafe. Whether it was a cup of jo, tea, or perhaps a delicious pastry that was needed; she was able to cook up somethin’ good for her customers, while even adding in an extra treat to the regulars that showed her love. She was probably the most popular barista well known for being quick on making sure orders ran smoothly, while having the best customer service provided. 

Today was one of those days where everything seemed to be going well for her shift. She was pleased to see her shift was going to end in a couple of minutes. As she continued to clean behind the counter and make sure everything was restocked, she saw a shadow slowly approaching the register. Wiping off any residue that was on her apron, she turned her attention to whom was possibly the last customer of her shift. 

“Hi there! Welcome to Castella. What can I whip up for ya’, today? If ya’ need any recommendations, feel free to ask. I’ll make sure to surprise ya’ with one of my favorites. ~ “
