As somebody who hasn't read Knot the novel but who has an overactive imagination and doesn't forget even 1 second of the trailers:
my theory is that 15+~ish years ago, Nakhun's dad got into trouble and nearly died/got shot (mechanics unknown). At the time, a very young boy child saved his life (mechanics unknown. Maybe knew a good hiding spot?). He realized the boy was a pure omega (how? magic, fuck me sideways if i know) but he was maybe wounded and so spent a lil time with the boy (maybe a day?) and taught him random life skills (like if you're in a fight, get them unarmed first, and then stop them from moving, that's classic self defense) and then after his people found him and he left, the kid disappeared. Daddyo basically tried desperately to find him again because he wanted the boy to marry/mate with his son, but the boy had disappeared without a trace. and THAT boy was phatsa. So at the culmination of this show i fully expect him to find out that phatsa was the boy and in the end all his wishes came true and he has to fucking GROVEL for nakhun's forgiveness :)
