Part of me feels like this is a silly question, but is there any sort of rule/restriction in regards to weapons characters bring with them? For example, would Caitlyn be allowed to have her hextech rifle with her? I apologize if this question was asked already!
Hi there! Thanks for asking. Don’t worry, the question isn’t silly at all.
We’re unfortunately not super familiar with the hextech rifle, but we assume that since it’s fueled by magic (correct us if we are wrong), it would be rather useless in Stella City. Mainly because powers are nerfed and magic is unavailable.
As for weapons, we don’t have any “official” rules, but we do approve them on a case by case basis. Things we look at, for example, are whether weapons are supernatural/magical (we only allow small powers in this setting) or how destructive they are (we don’t want our city to be blown to smithereens).
Some examples of weapons we have allowed so far or would allow:
A defective tome / spell book
A tome / spell book that casts rainbows
Weapons you could buy in the real world (e.g. bows/arrows, catapult, bat, etc).
And here are examples of weapons we wouldn’t allow:
A working magic staff that can summon many strong spells. (Too magical, too destructive.)
Rockets, nuclear weapons, etc. (Too destructive.)
Mecha / gigantic fighting robots. (Too destructive.)
A staff that can heal people to full health. (Too magical.)
Compromises can also be made. If you would like to bring a certain supernatural weapon which we otherwise wouldn’t allow, it may be possible to bring it in after some alterations have been made. In that case, the weapon would be partly or fully defective.
If you’re unsure, feel free to ask! As long as you describe what the weapon is like, we can see if it fits our setting and if the weapon would be brought along with your character here.
