aside from the Bellarke angst,

the friendship between Jordan and Hope was the best thing to come out of this episode.

They relate to each other in such a unique way and lord knows they could both use a friend that wasn’t a friend of their parents first.

Possibly unpopular opinion, but Murphy with Madi/all kids in general is adorable and speaks to his major character development.

In all other seasons, he’s pretty indifferent about kids but in season 7 he’s protecting madi like she’s his own kid because he probably relates to her and knows how hard it is to deal with bad things as a kid. The whole thing is just *chefs kiss*
