...I have to say this because of the mob mentality that likes to run rampant in this shit show of a community. If you have beef with someone, deal with it and them by blocking and keeping it moving. All this talking your cheerleaders into the hating them with you makes you all look weak. That's that bullying you all claim to be against.

I got up this morning with a certain inspiration I haven't had in a very long time. Writing has always been something I have loved, but today feels different.

Good things are coming.

-put on its comfy clothes and chill tf out. All this policing, calling out, and other extra stuff is nonsense. Wild thought, if you don't like something block it and move on. But to go out of your way to stir up others in an environment that is already a house of cards in a windstorm at best is odd. You are not the RPC's saviour. Warnings? Are they really? If people need to know something that is one thing. Majority of the time the problem is solved by people going their separate ways. You fell out with someone? Sorry my friend, but welcome to life. It's going to happen at one time or another, and as sure as you continue to live it will happen again. No one is saying it's right or that you shouldn't be hurt, but to queue a 15 scroll post every 10 minutes using every tag is wild to me.

Then again, some people live to be stressed out.

"No offense, its only in good fun!" I say that about the requested plots that I have been remarking about wanting to watch from the lobby. I certainly hope harmless banter hasn't stopped anyone from requesting anything. You all have some good stuff out there! May everyone have a good day!

Yea and that is messed up in a way.  But still I get it, almost like you ‘gotta have a hook,’ in a sense.  And total side note only so much you can do with a blog when its Tumblr vs Javascript error time. 

Now that is what makes me sad too because you can only go for so long feeling like you are posting to the void.  That was something else I did enjoy so much with my time here, the interaction.  It seemed like once people had less of an issue about simply jumping into an open or replying to a post.  Now its total radio silence or rudeness on such an unnecessary level.  Plus tagging doesn’t seem to be the answer either to get you around those you are looking for.  I know things change but what?

Yes 100% everyone has their ‘no’ topics as long as that was respected that seemed to be the biggest hurdle out there.  Followed close behind that was who or what kind of characters they wrote with.  Starting out in an anime fandom I wrote with just as many flesh and blood fcs as I did anime ones from my own fandom as well as crossovers.  (This makes me soooooo nostalgic)  Once again it seemed like it didn’t matter as much or something because now I feel like save for a few that wouldn’t be an easy thing to pull off.

I could care less about how a blog looks as long as it’s not neon green background with red italic script lol.  So many blogs were out here making people cry with replies and were using that Elephant Theme it wasn’t even funny.  Then with the fc thing my mind always thinks, ‘okay you wanna write against X or its for shippy stuff’.  That’s cool too, but can we also add emphasis on how important it is to have all levels of platonic ships out there? 

No I appreciate your answering!  And it is just weird how things changed so drastically.  It does make you bummed when you’ve put a lot of work into writing and getting that part just right.  Sure, I understand the whole beautiful blog thing because it’s how you attract some people.  But at the end of the day when you are world building or writing until 3 am that doesn’t matter.

I’ve written everything pretty much everything (canon and oc, fandom or fandomless) so I agree that comes with its own challenges as well depending on what’s “hot” at the moment.  The terrible thing about that is getting an influx of window shoppers and nothing really sticks.  Especially when you’ve brought your “A” game to be left with a lot of evaporating threads. These are the conversations we should be having; I’ve seen others stating the same thing.  Where staying positive about the situation is nice, I wonder what can be done about it?

I have to say that it's been terribly difficult to get started in roleplay again. And I'm not sure if it's because people are starting to lean more toward discord or if the rpc as a whole is dying out. Yep I said it.

So here's my question, how are people finding open and receptive people to even approach? All I've found is radio silence (which is rude, but an answer), dead blogs, or the policing of what/who people write and what they do on their blog. The latter is a whole other can of worms.

I left this site as the 2018 debacle was starting for other reasons, but don't remember writing ever being like this. I'm just looking to write, end of story. Gifs/no gifs, fancy formatting or not has never mattered to me. What I've come up against this time around has just been wild.
