Okay so in early Gintama, Hijikata always called Sougo 'the prince from the planet Sadist.' And I was genuinely confused. Like… planet Sadist, sure. But prince?? Hijikata's the one who gets terrorized by that kid the most, and he still gave him a prince title?? Lowkey feels like someone else was secretly having fun here…

If someone has never been in the minority, the weaker side, or even treated as an object at some point in their life—never felt the fear, anxiety, and strong pushback that comes with it—then deep down I just don't think we see the world the same way.
