given all the rising transphobia and shit, we should remember that white trannies are still relatively safe and will be able to endure more escalation more easily, we're not at the top of any shit list even if we near if, trans women of color however are very vulnerable, and we need to remember they're our sisters, not our shields
First time I opened the notes on this the latest reblog was "stooooo this is causing infigthing!"
Second time was "also men!"
Fucking stop.
Stop being so fucking fragile and just support black transfems. Can you do that? For even 5 fucking minutes?
- Tabytha Gonzalez, Recipient
Here's a pretty good organization that does this type of work!
The Black Trans Travel Fund is a Black trans-led collective rooted in self-advocacy and mutual aid for Black trans women globally, our mission is to provide travel support, connect communities internationally, and establish paths towards opportunities, safety, and success.
I love rough nearly impassible terrain, I love wild animals that hate humans, I love humans that love wild animals. Reblog if you hate domestication.
i'm listening to gathering moss, by robin wall kimmerer, and she is talking about a very odd job she was consigned to do, where an eccentric millionaire recuited her to consult on a "habitat restoration". when she arrives, the job they actually want her to do is to tell them how to plant mosses on the rocks in his garden. he wants it to look like a specific, beautiful wild cliff in the woods nearby, with centuries-old beds of moss growing thick and strong. she tells him it is impossible. such a thing would take decades to accomplish.
later, she is called back to look at the progress of the moss garden and is amazed by the thick, well-established mosses. how did they do it? she asks.
then they take her out to the woods and show her that they have been blasting huge chunks of rock out of the cliff, packaging them in burlap, and moving them to the owner's garden.
This quote really got me: "The owner is a man who loves mosses, and the exercise of power. I have no doubts of his sincerity in wishing to protect them from harm, once they conformed to his landscape design. But I think you cannot own a thing and love it at the same time. Owning diminishes the sovreignty of a thing, enriching the possessor and diminishing the possessed. If he truly loved mosses more than control, he would have left them alone, and walked each day to see them."
- Gathering Moss by Robin Wall Kimmerer
Having intimate intercourse deep in the woods and remembering that there is still a world to love is better than any therapy or medication they will try to force upon me

i find the whole "i had unpleasant experiences with leftists before so now im a raging fascist" narrative incredibly funny because we have all had unpleasant experiences with leftists before. it comes free with being a leftist
Saw someone with a “deny, defend, depose” sticker on their car. I want one but like it feels like it makes you a target for police with no benefits really
Like not to be a nonmonogamist on main or something but it always really weirds me out whenever people consider cheating, like, some unforgivable cardinal sin. Like, certainly in a vacuum betraying a promise you made to your partner is, in general, bad. But I don't think, say, a man cheating on his wife with a younger woman (often positioned as someone who is literally subordinate to him) because he no longer thinks she's attractive and therefore has no value, and a woman cheating on her husband because she, for financial reasons, can't leave her relationship and wants some physical and emotional connection with someone who isn't financially abusing her, are in any way the same level of awful. It's highly context dependent, and the concept of cheating created through our highly possessive amatonormative patriarchal culture.
Like fwiw I think basically everyone would be better off if they didn't put all their romantic, sexual, child-rearing, financial and companionship needs into One single person who they expected to remain legally chained to them throughout their entire life, but maybe that's just me.
There’s a lot of situations where I honestly don’t think cheating should be a life-ending mistake but people aren’t ready for that conversation yet. Cheating is not a one reason incident and it’s a situation where you can’t make a good judgement without knowing everything about that relationship and I don’t think the world should have to know every intimate detail about someone’s life
people always go "is it ok that i do this?" and "am i allowed to do this?" and i constantly try to emphaise like u can do what u want!!! surely the importantant question is "what should i want?" "what helps me grow and flourish as a person?"
One solution to the male loneliness epidemic could be mandatory feminization
Another solution could be bombing the suburbs and replacing them with serene pine forests but I'm not a politician I'm just an everyday citizen with commonsense ideas
Or men could just stop being whiny bitches about it
my two suggestions seem more likely to happen in our lifetime

top: a fully thriving ecosystem with native plants and animals
bottom: a pollution factory made of steel and tar hostile to all life within and around it, and which is actively contributing to the destruction of the biosphere
One of the main misunderstandings I've seen between anticiv ppl talking and ppl not understanding them is the fact that civilization is a word that has multiple applications. Civilization, noun, a society who's success is based primarily on the building and growth of cities is a fine definition. The only problem is that, we who critique civilization find it much more interesting to talk about Civilization, verb, the process of structuralizing the extracting, processing, centralizing, domesticating and otherwise systemitizing of anything and everything possible into societal resources.
"how is religion/morality/recoup/domestication/agriculture/education/gender/assimilation/gentrification civilization?"
Well babes, you finally got your answer. It's civilizationverb
As they carve a hole into the heart of our mother, our lover, and our dearest friend there will be few words that will be heard over her despair.
“Drill, baby, drill”
Was talking with a friend my age recently and we were talking about how it's wild that it's socially acceptable to support Luigi in anarchist scenes these days.
10 years ago saying you supported ITS blowing up nanotech scientists would get you called an ecofash. Even worse if you supported Ted K.
15 years ago you'd have entire communities writing essays about how terrorism and insurrectionary anarchism only hurts The Movement™️.
We truly live in wild times.
i mean. folks still get called ecofash for supporting ITS and Ted K
Sometimes community is just people you’ve never met helping you get your car out of an ice covered yard

you really cannot be surprised or upset when your outdoor cat gets bird flu at this point. it is to be expected that your cat is put at risk of many diseases including bird flu. if you are letting your cat outside at this time, especially in a high risk area, you are actively gambling with their life
Marxists are not exactly beating the colonial ideology allegations with their concept of progress (history moves forward = more people working = more stuff = gooder)
