anyway black women are having miscarriages in Flint and there has yet to be an outrage from the “pro-life” community
can we call this a genocide yet?
keep in mind this is a MAN-MADE health crisis. they changed the water of a lower-income black community for a reason. 12 people have died so far because of the water and now the women are suffering from miscarriages. this story needs as much attention as possible. a black community is still being poisoned and pro-lifers don’t seem to give a shit
y’all…. just watched the Rachel Dolezal netflix documentary and….
i went into this thinking it would be like an exposé about a delusional racist woman (which it is a little bit) but like the way and reason why she was exposed is absolutely atrocious.
rachel was the second biological child of her parents. her birth was super traumatic for her UBER-Christian parents and they decided to adopt more kids but financially they were able to only adopt black children
all the black children were mentally physically and socially abused. esther (the only black girl adopted) literally has permanent scars from the whippings she received from her parents.
rachel apparently bonded with her black siblings, and fed up with the abuse from their parents, somehow convinced herself that she was black– LIKE HER BROTHERS and SISTER (im guessing as a way to distance herself from the abuse)
when she left the home she eventually started bringing in her siblings to live with her away from the parents abuse. She legally became the guardian for one of her adopted brothers.
when her adopted sister esther, reached out to her for help in escaping the parents and their eldest biological son, rachel drove to the house and took her away
Esther came forward that Rachel’s biological brother was sexually abusing her since her adoption (which the parents brushed off). the only reason that he was caught was because Rachel confessed that she TOO was his victim.
in retaliation, her brother hired a private investigator to expose to the media that rachel was white. THE JOURNALIST WHO DID THE INTERVIEW THAT WENT VIRAL confirmed that the investigator is real. The interviewer also doesnt believe white supremacy is an issue these days (so take that as you will)…..
the reason why her parents did interviews with the media was because her estranged biological daughter’s actions led to their son’s arrest. AND THEY DID THIS WHEN RACHEL WAS TO TESTIFY IN COURT ABOUT HER MOLESTER BROTHER. and with the entire world knowing she lied about being black… no jury would believe the sisters.
so now im thinking…. if she didnt save her sister from abuse and come forward about her own abuse at the hands of her parents, she wouldnt have been exposed…
damn. that’s a hell of a lot to take in. wow.

He was an activist who inspired millions to fight for their rights. He knew what was wrong with our country and risked his life to help his people achieve equality. In the society where black were treated like animal he did everything possible to change this. His brave soul, his will and courage changed the history of America , changed the people. He made us believe we can win this war. He payed for it with his life. He will always be remembered.
this should be reblogged everyday just so people can know that black rage is always justified. always.

You need to watch this, because MESSAGE.
“You know you’re not ready for a relationship, when you’re not fully prepared to give or to fulfill the desires and needs of someone else.”
“ You have to ask yourself: Am I prepared to make time and effort to give this person what they need? If the answer is ‘no’ , then you’re not ready for a relationship. ”
“What you want is convenience, and that’s not a relationship. A relationship is not about convenience. A relationship is about two people working together , two people giving to eachother… it takes WORK!”
“If you’re not ready for the work, don’t apply for the job.”
These are simple facts you have to learn to grasp if you want to be in a real , healthy, committed relationship. This is honestly the base of what you’re relationship should be founded on.
I look back on all the times when I was made to feel like I am hard to love because I demanded more than the average, mediocre “tell you I love you all the time even though I have nothing to show for it” type of love.
It really makes me sad to realize that we’re already conditioned to think the bare minimum is worth your time , and wanting anything more than that makes you look too complacent.
Let’s stop allowing ourselves to fall prey to people who make promises and commitments that they have no will , or desire to keep because they’re not willing to put in the work.
do you ever use a pen and you’re just blown away by how smoothly it glides across the page and how the ink flows out so beautifully like tears of jesus or something
Some people must experience the world in a more exciting way than I do
Oh I’m a slut for good pen
Love pens that just glide 😩
If this aint the most ignorant shit
I literally have no words
Also dark skin looks great with literally any saturated color on earth. People stay reaching. Dislocating their shoulders and shit.
Don’t play yourself.
My goddess, each and every person here is beautiful and got such wonderful hair.
Like I could only dream of having hair like them, simply stunning.

the 100 best pieces of career advice.I hope you get inspired, enjoy!
26-year-old Jamarion Robinson’s grandmother Beverly Nixon said her grandson was bipolar and schizophrenic. Still got shot 76 (!!!) times. Would a white person get the same treatment?
The witness said he saw more than a dozen patrol cars at the complex where US Marshals killed Robinson on August 5, 2016. Why were there no behavioral specialist? Surely one of them would know how to interact with a bipolar schizophrenic better than the police.
I’m absolutely disgusted.
Here’s Jamarion’s mother’s GoFundMe in case anyone is willing to help.

Oh god ..
Older women are gems when it comes to relationship advice, especially when it comes to choosing the right men. I recently had a long conversation with an 84 year old woman and then she began to tell me the same relationship advice I hear almost every older woman say my whole life. Her advice can be applied to vanilla and sugar dating:
If a man doesn’t give anything to you in the beginning, he won’t give it to you later.
If you and your husband have to split all the bills, he’s not your husband he’s your roommate.
If a man is stingy with spending his money on you, just tell him, “I got what you want and you got what I want. It can’t work out if we can’t get what we want from each other.”
If a man likes/wants you, he will let you know right away.
Action speaks louder than words. Pay more attention to what they do and act towards you than focusing on their words and “promises”.
If you’re with a man in the beginning stages of the relationship and he’s more focused on looking or talking about other women, drop him.
A real man will protect you, look after you, and give you what you need/want.
If you ask a man for money and he says something like, “Don’t you have a job”, don’t do shit for him (especially sex) or drop him because he’s not that into you.
Anybody can be good in bed, if that’s all a man has to offer or that’s his only “redeeming” quality, drop him. You can’t spend all your time in the bedroom.
Good, generous men all have city jobs.
Men in the military are the biggest cheaters.
Women should never chase a man.
A man that is serious and genuinely likes you will always be consistent and not play games (example: not go days without talking to you, you’re not always the one initiating the phone calls/texts, will never drastically change his demeanor, etc.)
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 this is gold

My grandfather doesn’t use the word “calories” when talking about food…he uses the word “value” instead. I was eating fruit for lunch and he said “if you’re going for a run later you need something more valuable”. I sat there for a while just thinking about the way he said that. Change out a negative word with a positive one and you’ll see start seeing positive change.
If Zendaya wasn't lightskin would yall always defend her like yall do? If Amandla was darker would yall care so much about what she has to say? If Willow was a little darker would she be called a weirdo instead of "quirky"? If Rihanna was darkskin might yall be calling her a hoe for her lyrics and sexuality? What about Nicki, would yall be as stunned by her body if she was just another big-booty darkskin chick? If Beyonce was Kelly's color or even Solange's color, would she be 5 times as successful in the white and black world as both of those two put together?
I love ALL of these women for their tenacity and what they stand for, but don’t yall find it a bit odd that most of the black women we love/regard as the “fairest of the land” all happen to be pretty… fair ?
Hmmph
*insert Morgan Freeman “She’s right you know” gif*
Damn this got me thinking
Finally someone said it
I never thought about this
Forgot Zoe Kravitz, Erykah Badu and Lisa Bonet
Oh and Alicia Keys.
Yup. Dark skin gets no love and we are demonized because of it. Colorism is bad in the black community and this shit gotta stop
