She should’ve considered herself lucky to have him. Lucky that she had someone like him who loved her in a way no one else could. Because who else could love and care for someone as ugly and boring as her?

She should’ve been grateful he had made an exception to his rule. Exception he would never ever make again because he needed her and therefore was ready to make a sacrifice like that.

She should’ve been ready to make the same exception for him when he demanded her to. For him who had waited this long, longer than he had with any of his exes because she had told him she needed to have a stronger connection before she could even think of him that way.

She should’ve just backed to the wall not stay in his hand’s way. His hand that quickly found a way to fix the situation and push her where a good girl should’ve been in the first place.

She should’ve not cried because of the pain she felt. The pain that was, after all, her fault for not making the same sacrifices to make this relationship work as he had.

She should’ve apologised for making him angry with her petulance. Petulance that eventually just made her look more ugly in the process by bruising herself and making him mess her pretty long hair.

She should’ve begged for him to take her back. Begged him because she needed him almost as much as he wanted her and because his love should be the only thing on her mind because it would be the only love she would ever get.
