Let’s talk about a book that absolutely wrecked me in the best way possible.

First of all… the collector’s edition??? Unreal. Gorgeous. Illegal levels of pretty. It easily outshines almost every special edition on my shelves. But what really sealed the deal? The story delivers just as hard as the aesthetics. And the tropes?? Oh, the tropes are TROPING, y’all. Buckle up:

⚔️ TRUE enemies to lovers (and I mean actually trying to kill each other — no soft rival nonsense)

🔥 Morally gray, anti-heroine we love to see

Every page was delicious. Dark, gritty, emotional, and completely immersive. I was thriving in the vibes, emotionally attached to everyone, and already plotting my next move in the series before I even finished.

✨ Safe to say: I’m LOCKED IN for the rest of this series. ✨

Ok, Allurial… I’m now mad I slept on y’all for so long. This box and packing is EPIC! 😍

Locked Library When the Moon Hatched - this is my dream book. I never thought I would own it. My fiancé is AMAZING and told me to get it when I found it for a not psychotically asinine price point.

Target Edition Onyx Storm - I legit cried when I went to Target when the store opened and they were all sold out bc of resellers doing online pickups. This was a horrible release and Rebecca got screwed IMO. Why this was not treated like the final Harry Potter book’s release, I have no idea. My fiancé bought it off EBay for me when the prices came ALLLLL the way down. AGAIN… He is AMAZING!

Iron & Embers + Thorns & Fire - Non US book editions, found on Blackwell’s website with no shipping to US. Won’t chance being able to replace these.

Silver Elite + Alchemy of Secrets BOTM - Limited Edition edges only available to Book of the Month. Also don’t want to chance being unable to replace.

Look at this B E A U T I F U L book! I have heard of this series as a fantasy/romantasy girl and saw the new paperback reprints. I pushed them off for various reasons and am SOOOOO GLAD I DID!
