Ian heard some slight music as he rolled out of bed his hair a big mess groaning he headed downstairs smirking as he saw Noah, “Well hello..” he laughed walking over to the boy yawning soft.

Ian nodded listening to Noah before heading to bed as he laid in bed thinking about everything that has happened tonight, It never went the way he planned but for once it worked better for him especially meeting Noah randomly.
Noah was an early riser, used to his morning shifts at Espresso Patronum, so he went downstairs to make breakfast. he would always make his grandparents their breakfast, so he decided to make Ian’s too. He busied himself, singing along to the radio, waiting for people to finally wake up.

“You’ll find someone,” Noah told him, his voice soft. “The best thing about this whole asteroid thing is, people aren’t as scared to get into relationships. They want to spend the rest of their life happy.” Noah made his way to his room, watching Ian for a moment, before he opened his door. “Goodnight.”

Noah stood up, and smiled at the other boy. “I’m always happy to help,” he explained. “I’d like to think you’d do the same for me anyways. Just don’t make me head back outside in the rain in my pyjamas again, okay?” he asked, jokingly.

Ian moved close almost wrapped in Noah’s arms as the rain poured on them he sniffed a little glancing at him, “I.. of course not you’re perfect” He smiled looking down again, before shrugging, “I don’t care they’re assholes anyway right..”
Noah frowned, knowing that it wasn’t right for his parents to make him think like this. He had always wondered what his own parents would have been like with his sexuality, but he’d never let himself think about it too much. There were too many what if’s, and he wouldn’t let himself get stuck on them. “Come on, let’s get you back inside. You’re going to catch a cold if you stay out here.”

entirely oblivious to anything further than sheer friendliness, levi just grinned brightly before heading off to sit enjoying his coffee. noah always remembered exactly how he liked it, down to every last detail. he couldn’t help but smile to himself at the realisation, glad to have chosen espresso patronum over any other coffee shop he’d tried. every so often, levi would steal a glance at the other male, watching the way he smiled constantly and interacted with other customers. of course, levi wouldn’t exactly say that he knew noah particularly well, but from what he did know of him, he seemed to be a genuine, sweet kind of guy. their eyes would meet occasionally, and levi would just offer a small smile before ducking his head bashfully. he hadn’t noticed noah approaching until the other headed over to him, and he looked up at him with a grin, gesturing for noah to take a seat with him. gaze wandering over to the old woman in question, he laughed and shook his head. “c’mon, man. that’s a pretty lousy excuse, as far as excuses go. maybe switch it up a little, go for something more original. failing that you could be completely unoriginal and tell her that you’re already seeing someone?” levi suggested, arching a brow as he sipped at his coffee. “i mean, she seems sweet. i doubt she’s gonna try and . convince you to cheat on your beloved other half.”
noah’s face lit up at the idea that levi had just given him, grinning at levi like the chesire cat. “ levi, you know how much you love me ?? ” he began, looking at the other man with an innocent look in his eyes. “ will you be my beloved ?? ” it was almost too good of an idea. he’d get mrs. williams off of his back, and he’d get to parade levi around a bit, flirting openly with him. honestly, levi was a genius. “ when she’s finished her carrot cake, i’ll bring her up to you to introduce you as my boyfriend, and that’s it. no funny business, unless you’re into that. ” he turned his head slightly, to see if she was in view. and she was, sitting at her usual table, talking on the phone to someone. “ it’s funny, i know so much about her, but i don’t even know her first name. i was there when her husband died, when her youngest son was expecting his first child, and all of the little moments in between. you know i helped her come up with a name for her dog ?? ” noah’s eyes drifted around the room, before settling back on levi. “ i know it’s not everyone’s dream job, but i love it here. the people you meet, the stories you hear. it’s all incredible. ”
