Recently moved and in unpacking the boxes of books came across this nearly complete, original set of floppy discs from the Lisa Computer we briefly had on loan when I was a child.

For any of you not into Apple Computer ancient history, the Lisa was the direct antecedent predecessor to the Macintosh.

In many ways from a User experience, it was incredibly similar, but the case was much larger and it was more expensive.

"Second Color of Printing" Memorial Exhibit

Do you like the color red? A favorite shade, tint, hue? If yes this exhibit is for you:

Experienced and aspiring graphic designers are invited to submit their favorite shade of red to "The Second Color of Printing," a memorial exhibit in honor of printer and educator Michael Josefowicz.

Submissions are open through July 31, and all selected entries will receive a small honorarium ($100) as well as inclusion in the exhibit. Designers are invited to share their favorite red to use in printing, a brief statement on why it's their favorite, and examples of the use of this red in their work.
