"Home" hadn't felt like home in a while. Nina guessed that's where the urge to move on has come from. She wished she could find it in herself to stick around, just a little bit longer, but alas- she needed to do what was best for herself. And what was best was to take her career to the next level. A level Chicago was no longer providing. She was moving to L.A. and things were going full speed ahead. Dad was fine on his own... well, with his new fiance. Dad finally found love again. That also helped Nina to move on to what she felt was a better fit for herself. She had a couple contacts in L.A. and knew her safety net would be in tact if need be. She'd miss all the friends and memories she'd made at Lakeview. Hopefully they'd forgive her for leaving so abruptly. Maybe she'd come back and honor some of the commitments she'd promised, if they'd have her. She took one last look at her apartment, snapped a quick photo with the camera that she held in her hand, and closed the door.
