may Allah swt accept all of our dua’s this Ramadan.

keep secrets. be your own best friend. surround yourself with women. don’t justify or look over a man being unattractive bc men never do that. don’t be friends with men. keep a good relationship with your mother and sisters. read. read as much as you possibly can. fiction, non fiction, journals, poetry, articles, cookbooks idfc just read. go on walks. have big, thoughtful breakfasts and allow yourself the time to make them in the mornings. take your iron tablets and oil your hair at least once a week.

im not so good at adulting.

umeed. hopefulness. a helpless hopefulness that they’ll show up. that they’ll change. that they will grow. that they will realise.
