here we go again

The rest of the yansim fanart from my sketchbook featuring the bullies, Ayano in kimono, and the aishi family.

I feel like Ayano and the bullies would get along in a weird way, especially her and Hoshiko bc of their propensity for violence. Also gyaru ayano is beautiful.

I drew her in yukata and Furisode bc I like drawing kimono and then I did a scary bloody variant bc she’s still Yan-Chan at the end of the day

I actually really dislike most of the aishi family lore because it makes me really angry, but the concept isn’t bad. I decided to draw all the canon aishi’s and add my own personal headcanons like the first aishi looking exactly like Ayano, Anahiki being buffer and wearing men’s clothing (bc she’s supposed to be a carpenter after all), and Oga wearing a different kimono (hate the way the canon art features kimono. They do NOT look like that and I find the tight silhouette in the canon art disrespectful.)

Did you guys know that even though I like Ayano/Taro, I have a big soft spot for Ayano/Megumi? I just love the idea of Megumi lowkey being obsessed with Ayano and literally doing all the same Yandere ass shit Ayano does to Taro under the notion that she’s “keeping tabs” on a “dangerous person” but ultimately has to face the fact that no, she’s actually just attracted to Ayano’s blank stare and uncanny nature 😭 plus bonus points for Ayano ending up with a woman because lesbians should always win

Once again: pen drawings on index cards so these aren’t super amazing (and I struggle with drawing Megumi) but I think the spirit has been captured

I hate this game and I hate the developer and I hate how absolutely attached I am to the Ayano and her crazy generational trauma
