“Being different meant being weird” yes, and that’s ok! You can only ever be yourself. My heart breaks for Minori because as I called from episode 1, deep down she idolized Makio for being herself and pursuing what she wanted to do, while she felt trapped.

Absolutely blown away by this premiere, full of great moments, none better than the climax here as Makio pledges to care for and support her niece. Two socially awkward, probably slightly autistic people helping each other through trauma. KNEW that was my goat Ushio Kensuke’s OST from the start, it feels like he went back to his Koe no Katachi days with this one so I’m excited as fuck.
