At some point I just realized how much the Wheelers remind me of the Baudelaires! I can’t quite explain it, the thought just got stuck in the back of my mind and stayed there... So I started thinking: what if the Wheeler house burned down one day? No, they don't have to be orphans! Let’s just say Ted and Karen ended up in the hospital. And instead of moving from one guardian to another, they get taken in by the Byers? Unlike Lemony Snicket, I actually like happy endings lol. I just wanted to capture that slightly eerie vibe with the the Wheeler kids.
