what i love so much about the art youve shown us is that when mike is top, the actions mike and will are partaking in are more natural and vanilla, while where mike is bottoming and/or subbing there doing more dirtier things or have a dirtier type of energy. i just think its very in character for them. mike would love to explore and be completely surrendered to will while bottoming as while will would still like to be slightly in control, or just have it more simple while he's being more vunerable. i dont know if thats what youre going for with your art, but i REALLY enjoy that interpretation! thank u for the great art!!!!
omg!! yes! i'm so honored you took time to analyze the implications 🥹 yes i think you're right! mike is purely instinct-driven most of the time, driven by his dick energy and his immense love for will, so he's not really that kinky nor conscious, he mostly just wants to be close really badly 😄 and well, while will obviously also does, it's a bit more complicated for him because he is, for one, maybe is slightly scared still of letting go completely (because of many layers of PTSD and general anxiety) and feels safer and more invigorated when he can and HAS to decide, in an environment as safe as their bond, where he can practice agency – fully knowing mike is always there to support him if anything goes wrong, and where everything goes directly like he wants it (mike is just always happy to be there for Anything he cooks up hahah); for two, i just think will is kinkier and more Knowledgeable (will the WISE a scholar of GAY SEX i'm sorry) and actually enjoys roleplaying and making up scenarios and games for them and mike has no better thing in the world to do than indulge him in that 🥹 and yes when will is bottoming he does prefer it simple so that he doesn't get overwhelmed easily, but he's enjoying it too and slowly becoming more comfortable to let go completely... ah and yes, i know mike is obviously a natural leader, but i enjoy the headcanon where he's so done with it in his daily life: always being the one to plan and decide things for everyone around and so on and so forth and he obviously does that and good at is BUT when he's with will he discovers that letting go feels like Absolute Bliss when he first enters subspace with him! and in that state of absolute surrender he just falls apart completely and he loves it, they both do 😄 yeah um that;s. tht's it 🤧☺️
