Late to this convo lol but I think a possibility is that klodi doest know he himself is into men, but the feelings are bubbling over. Maybe he knows Loni is gay but sees what they have a deep friendship, even if for some reason he gets insanely jealous. We know his family is homophobic so perhaps he has ha friends and it ok with it, but when it comes to himself, he’s repressing

that does feel like the most obvious answer. but i'm not sure if he knew loni was gay during the show. sometimes it felt like he didn't know. but that feels weird bc it definitely seemed like most of the other people there knew ? and i remember someone saying on twitter that klodi has gay friends? or something like that, so it feels unlikely that he didn't know.

klodi's parents homophobia etc. definitely affect the way he acts. but i'm not sure if klodi is homophobic himself or if he was just very scared of being seen as gay during the show. (bc he didn't want his parents to see that). like does he know he is bi/gay but he just doesn't want the public and his parents to know that?

i feel like there are three possibilities:

1. he is straight. (feels a little unlikely? bc of the way he acted in the show. none of the other men acted the way klodi did towards any other men. it was only klodrim. the jealousy etc.)

2. he is bi and knew that before the show (this one feels unlikely to be true as well bc i feel like he wouldn't have acted the way he did if he was comfortable with his sexuality. he wouldn't have freaked out the way he did when people questioned his sexuality or relationship towards loni and also i feel like he would have been more subtle about his attraction towards loni if he was bi.) but like i said earlier, the way he acted could be explained by him not wanting his parents to know he is bi/gay. so this is still a possible answer.

3. he realized he was bi/gay during the show or he has always known but has been suppressing those feelings. (like you said this feels the most likely scenario. i think in the show he was kind of forced into a situation where he had to deal with those feelings he had.)

klodrim were not the only queer people on that show but their relationship was a lot more intense than anyone elses. and i feel like there are two reasons for that: first is the fact that they are just very compatible people/they are attracted to each other.

and the second is because klodi wasn't comfortable with his sexuality/feelings towards loni. and that made him often act in a very non suble way or like very over the top. i doubt he was acting the way he acted just to win the the show etc. i think he genuinely wanted to be close to loni.

that's also why sometimes it seemed like loni wasn't as into klodi but i feel like he was just more used to hiding his feelings?? like when klodi was cuddling him suddenly in the bed and loni was like genuinely suprised. that whole scene was really confusing to me because right before klodi does that he lookes at eli. so is he looking at eli to make her jealous or is he looking at eli to show her that he likes loni?? or if eli was asleep then was he looking at eli to see if she was looking at them? there is also that other clip where klodi is hugging eli and staring right at loni and that i feel like is clearly klodi knowing that loni is jealous of him. (if somebody has that clip plz send it to me bc i only have it in a edit and i don't have the whole clip) but that clip kind of proves that klodi knows that loni is gay and also that he knows loni has feelings towards himself? but it's harder to prove that klodi has feelings to loni...

klodi kind of reminds me of zach from the big brother us season 16. he also found out he was bi during the show bc he was attracted to frankie who was gay. it feels very similar to klodrim. zach was also kind of freaking about it in the show in a similar way to klodi. it's been a long time since i watched that season so i could remember things wrongly. but i think both zach and klodi were put into a situation (close proximity to a person they are attraced to) and their feelings kind of were forced to come out bc of the situation they were in. if they would have met outside the show, they wouldn't have had as close relationship. in the show they were forced to get to know each other very fast and also to sleep in the same room/bed etc.

i kind of wish klodrim could have been in a house as supportive as the s16 US was. or at least i remember them being very supportive, i could be wrong. i wonder how different things would have been if they were there instead. i kind of want to rewach that show bc i don't remember clearly what zach was thinking about their relationship. for example did he see it as a friendship?

do you think they (klodrim) knew that they were popular among fans? bc if they knew they could have intentionally done fanservise etc. i feel like klodi didn't know. maybe loni did or had a feeling people would ship them? and do you think he purposefully did fanservice for the ship in order to get more votes?
