Chris gets pounced by a young Victor in total darkness. He has no idea what has just latched onto his back but it's cackling and scaring the hell out of him.

"AAAIIIIIIIAAAUGH!" Chris tries to grab Victor but can't dislodge the small man due to his lower flexibility.

He tries slamming into a wall but Victor only leaps off and then hops back on. He scuttles all over Chris and evades him. Jill flies into the room and her flashlight catches the shining eyes of the little predator and wicked smile.

"GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!"

Jill grabs the writhing and snarling beastie and hurts Victor across the room. They both hear him hissing and scrambling towards them again. They try shooting but he is too agile and are forced to retreat.

The duo examine the damage and Chris is covered on bites and scratches and his clothes are shredded. They agree to flee the building and regroup. From a window Victor watches balefully.

Nobody. Tosses. Him!

When Aberrant Epoch Victor was a child he was in a near constant state of fear and uncertainty, but he kept himself grounded by building up his ego. He was smarter than the horrible things that called themselves his foster parents, smarter than the nasty children at school who abused him. He was going to make something of himself, and they weren't.

His intelligence helped save his life on multiple occasions, and he used it along with his keen ability to read people to get through each and every day. Victor was always steps ahead of them all and very proud of it though he had to keep this to himself most of the time.

One time a bigger kid threatened to kill him and Victor pushed him down the stairs when the opportunity presented itself. And he did it when the kid's back was turned and no one else was in the hallways to witness. He was never caught. The kid survived but was transferred out of the school thus getting rid of a significant bully.
