Sooo considering the context of the original song and Inks fear of abandonment, my interpretation would be that he is like an old and outdated TV show- something almost no one really pays attention to anymore and so he is desperatly trying to have anbody staying with him by masking and pretending especially hard to have emotions. I don't know if this hold up, the first time he opend his eyes thdy were white, but the aecond time he did have coloured shapes. But still; he dials up his animation and emotion so that people won't change the channel and he won't be left alone.

So, that's exactly why I chose this song as the Ink birthday video haha. Especially—when I realized it was Ink's tenth birthday(Everything was just right)
I've always loved the fact that Ink actually survives on fanworks, so it desperately wants to preserve the every creator(Yea),If all creators leave, Ink will lose its existence and emotion.
Regarding the eyes, I wasn't really sure why I drew them that way at the time. Maybe it's because one is only a fleeting moment, while the other is more easily noticed. So you can basically understand it as the ink wanting to show its more emotional side, it's pretty much what you think.
