Excalibur is a sword made out of pure condensed energy and can be only wielded for a short while, after which it needs to recharge inside its zweihänder-sheath Caldefwlch. In dire cases Arthur can overclock Excalibur by permacharging it using his own energy.
In his cast-off form, Arthur strips himself off all extra components such as cybernetic muscles, neural fibers and armor fortifications. Rendering him extremely fragile but also restricting his energy usage, allowing for any extra energy to be redirected into excalibur.

(This drawing is made on a base of COPIUM and the artist behind it, aka me, is also going insane for no new ac game release and fears for the integrity of its community and her too)
so I got this HORRIBLE fever a couple days ago and when I went to sleep I dreamt something...rather interesting. it wasn't your typical fever dream, instead, I dreamed about going to visit a cousin that moved to the US. we played some games together before he went to work, and he left me his PC to play, I was then basically doomscrolling on stem when all of a sudden I find a new AC game based on gen 5. however this version was different ,since when I played it I wasn't the lone mercenary/raven/lynx. instead., you played as a clone (which its Old Kings) and your main objective was to LITERALLY DESTROY ALL 7 TOWERS. LIKE THE CRADLES. ALL THIS WHILE WE RECONSTRUCTED,PIECE BY PIECE, LISA SO WE COULD FIGHT EVERY ONE OF THE FACTIONS, UNACS, AND OTHER CLONES. and while I don't remember much about it I remember a couple of scenes, for example one where you had to fight Thermidor and Otsdarva SIMULTANEOUSLY because they were now separate entities and their ACs where corrupted, hybrid versions of Unsung and Stasis, and characters such as a clone of Sadhana and May Greenfield. and as far as the lore of this crazy ass game I had in my dream goes, we basically take over the foundation's resources after Isaac and J were defeated by fatman and the lone mercenary from ACVD. and we make a network for our own radicalized,terrorist group which idk how it was it called, whose main goal was to end the war via said destroy the towers. after I woke up totally and rightfully so I decide to draw the thumbnail of this game from my memory, and after 3 days and accidentally deleting the first finished drawing and had my stupid azs redo all of it again, here it is!
