The @crafting-witch’s HELLA LOVE SPELL

Sick and tired of feeling lonely? Like your closest friend is your cat? Or are you simply lacking in vitamin D (or v for that matter)….?? Boy have I got the spell for you!!!!

HERES HOW ITS DONE.

1. Place your rose quartz in front of you, the bowl behind it, and then the candle behind the bowl. In a line… much like the one the boys/girls will be making for you after this spell ;))

2. Light your candle and incense

3. Now on your piece of paper. Write your intent- who/what you want to attract, etc.. this can be as short or as long as you want. However you like.

4. Chuck this piece of paper in your bowl

5. Sprinkle your rose and lavender into the bowl

6. Visualise the energy from the flower being absorbed by the paper.

7. Wave your hand or wand over the bowl and allow the bowl to absorb your energy.

8. Place the paper herbs and rose quartz into a cute lil sachet, seal the spell by making a circle with the candle under the sachet, and then whack that bad boy into your pocket. (Or give it to the person you want to attract)

🌹 Simple Rose Water Spray for Beauty and Attracting friends and love!

Today is Friday so in correspondence with it is planet Venus! So in honor of my ruling planet I thought I should share a little witch tip for you lovely witches!

Rose is associated with this planet so I made a rose water spray with golden mica powder. Here’s what you’ll need:

🌹 Ingredients:

-Spray bottle (glass is better but I only had plastic)

-Rose water

-Mica powder or crushed eyeshadow powder. Good colors to use would be pink, aqua, copper, and pale green.

Put rose water and mica into spray bottle and shake to mix! Feel free to add essential oils. 

🌹 How to use: Spray face/body/hair with the intent to enhance your beauty, to attract friendship/love, and bring harmony into your life! 

Have fun and remember to smile often for bonus points! You’re all beautiful and I hope you have a lovely Friday! 

I use this spell all the time, and it hadn’t occurred to me to post it because it seems a little obvious - but then again, it’s obvious because it’s simple, isn’t it?

1. Place the thing, or a representation of the thing, in a jar or bottle. If you’re trying to summon more sandwiches, put part of a sandwich in a bottle. If you can’t get a sandwich, draw a picture of a sandwich or find a symbol of a sandwich. 

2. Burn an orange candle over it. Secure an orange (for attraction) spell candle with some of its own wax on top of your filled jar or bottle to charge and seal. You can use this candle plain after charging it in your hands or with an external source (the sun, the moon, etc), or you can dress it and carve it to enhance the effect (I find runes to be a pretty great and easy way to customize a candle for beginners).

That’s it! I recommend doing this spell during the waxing moon, but in a pinch, you can attach it to any waxing motion (sunrise, the rising tide, and so on). This is one of those “open-ended results” things, so I wanna hear about any successful outcomes you guys get! :>

Meditation is a great foundational practice, not just for magic, but also for one’s own health and well being. It helps to focus the mind, it is very good for the heart, and also, for me, helps me sleep better. As a magical skill, it helps to focus the mind on one task at a time, helps with visualization, helps to more clearly hear spirits, and helps keep the magician in a balanced state of mind. 

In my previous post, I went over how one relaxes, which is a great first step to meditation, but is not meditation in and of itself. There are many different types of meditation, but the particular one I am going to work with is simple one that fixes the mind on one task. Remember: Every attempt at meditation is meditation. 

When I was learning to meditate, I hated it. I thought that in order to meditate you had to completely shut off your thoughts. I found this, naturally, impossible. Just even attempting to think about not thinking causes the mind to erupt into a series of seemingly meaningless information. However, it is not meaningless. Your mind is just showing you how you think, which is nice. 

There are many ways to do this type of meditation, so I will give a couple methods. You may just close your eyes, and focus on the breath. I do this on the bus a lot. When thoughts start to come up, just gently refocus your attention on your breath. 

Or you may focus on a spot on the wall, or a candle that is some distance away from you. This is what the old Faery Doctors would do to get themselves into a trance to hear their faery spirits. I find this method very deepening. My entire body shimmers when I focus on just a spot a on the wall for a period of time. 

Even just focus on the minute hand of a clock for an entire minute is a form of meditation. Can you see it moving ever so slowly? 

Since I like putting things into steps, here are my steps. Remember to set a timer for at least 30 minutes:

Sit in a comfortable position with the spine erect. If you have a chair, sit so that your spine is erect, and your feet flat on the floor. Lay your hands in your lap either folded atop one another face up, or just resting gently on your thighs.  

Relax as per the previous post. If you’ve been doing the relaxation often enough, you should be able to relax more quickly than you did before. 

Breathe deeply. Let your thoughts flow out with your breath. Do not give attention them. They are clouds floating by the clear sky of your mind. They are small leaves floating by the clear stream of your thoughts. 

If you feel twinges of discomfort, let them pass. Or adjust yourself to a more comfortable position. If you’ve never done this before, your body needs to build stamina to sit in this position or that for a long period of time. 

Do not punish yourself if you are having a ton of thoughts. It takes time to empty that big head of yours! Remember: Every attempt at meditation is meditation. 

When your meditation time if over, reverse your relaxation, and bring yourself back to waking consciousness. Congratulate yourself on your meditation practice, and have some water and a nice snack. 

A servitor is a spiritual being you create in order to do your bidding.

Servitors are used for:

Protecting you spiritually.

Guarding your property or your loved ones.

Creating glamour: creating a certain aura about you, and how others perceive you.

Bring you things you might need.

Aid in tasks.

Some servitors are such powerful thoughtforms that even others can see it (although this tends to be rare or is reserved for long-existing servitors).

Essentially, creating a servitor is put into three parts:

Construction.

Charging.

Casting.

It is outlined as follows:

Construction

You will need to create a symbolic representation of your servitor. What do you want your servitor to do? If, for example, you would want your servitor to guard you, you might want to create one in the form of a knight or an intimidating dog. Or, if you want to create an appearance entirely of your own, you may wish to add features such as sharp teeth, claws, weapons, armour, etc.The possibilities are endless although I do suggest using features that you associate with protection (I prefer using traditional associations, sometimes I even borrow imagery from tarot cards). Even drawing it out on a piece of paper helps you mentally create a “solid” representation of it if you don’t want to solely rely on your imagination in your head. Also consider: what special powers does your servitor have? What colour aura does it have? It is advisable to create a smaller servitor to begin with because larger ones require more energy.

Create your statement of intent for your servitor (what you want it to do). However, be specific and create guidelines - for example, if you want your servitor to help you gain money, you may want to tell it that causing misfortune in order to gain money is not permissible. You don’t want anything to backfire! 

It is also advisable that you create a sigil for your servitor or a symbol by which you will know your servitor. Finally, you will need to give your servitor a name. It can be any name you like or deem fitting. Do not tell anyone its name. 

Charging

After you have created the appearance and description of your servitor, you will need to actually bring it to life.

Draw the sigil or symbol of your servitor on a piece of paper and find a place where you will not be disturbed. Focus all of your attention on the sigil, repeating the servitor’s name. Visualise as vividly as you can the servitor’s shape forming. Firstly the base, and then the main symbols and features, and then the detail. You need to believe with all your will that the servitor is real and alive. There is no point in creating something which you think does not exist. This can take from 10-30 minutes. Repeat this for three days. Afterwards, the servitor will be able to function and appear on its own. 

Casting

You will need to give the servitor concise instructions on how to do your bidding here. See the servitor alive before you and call its name. Then, give it your instruction and then send it out to do your bidding. Never be afraid of your servitor, it is bound to you and it exists in order to fulfil your work and desires. 

You will also have to decide on what your servitor will feed on in order to require energy (you may wish to do this on the creation section too). Here are some examples:

Sunlight.

Moonlight.

Incense.

Candles.

Attention.

Prayers.

Water.

I suggest not using your blood or yourself as a way to charge it because this can very quickly spiritually drain you, especially if it is a larger servitor. 

You might also want to create a vessel or talisman for your servitor, and this way “feeding” it is easier as you can place the object on the feeding source. You can use anything you deem fitting for this, either jewellery, a statue, a drawing, a crystal, etc. 

To get rid of a servitor

If you no longer require a servitor because its purpose has been fulfilled, you may wish to destroy it. You can either stop using it and feeding it, destroy its vessel, or simply tell the servitor to stop and return to you. 

note: these are my personal correspondences! you may not agree with them, and thats totally okay. i just wanna share some ideas so you can form your own opinions :) feel free to add to the list!

Why would you involve the elements?

depending on the sigil’s purpose, different elements can aid the intent. for example:

WATER

water would help with sigils relating to emotions, wisdom, purification, love, healing, femininity and others.

WAYS TO CHARGE/ACTIVATE USING WATER 

drawing the sigil on paper and letting it soak in the sink

placing the sigil out in the rain

letting the sigil absorb moonlight

drawing the sigil on your body while you swim or bathe

EARTH

earth would help with sigils relating to gardening, money, grounding, divination, fertility, employment, stability, and others.

WAYS TO CHARGE/ACTIVATE USING EARTH

placing the sigil in soil

if it is a sigil to help with plants, place it under the pot or near the plant

let the sigil absorb sunlight

surround with crystals/rocks (selenite would be good!)

any sort of physical way would be good

FIRE

fire would help with sigils relating to sex, courage, exercise, destruction, force, cleansing, protection and many others.

WAYS TO CHARGE/ACTIVATE USING FIRE

draw the sigil on paper and burn it (be careful!)

pass over a candle

pass through incense smoke (or any smoke) 

cut up the paper

let it absorb sunlight

have the paper under your pillow or nearby when indulging in acts of passion (yep. you know what i mean.)

draw the sigil on your skin and everytime it moves it’ll charge

AIR

air would help with sigils relating to flying, moving, intelligence, school, karma, and others.

pass through incense smoke

play your sigil some music

toss the sigil into the air

take it with you when traveling
