I prefer semi lit replies, multi paragraph is awesome but if you can’t do that shorter is fine too.

18. Favorite artist of yours that you feel has art that represents you (author, musician, etc.) 

Even though I have Amazon Prime, I bought the DVD of Good Omens just for the writer and director commentaries (and the deleted scenes, but those were brief). I’ve been rewatching it with the commentaries and I was struck by what Neil Gaiman says about how Crowley and Aziraphale portray each other during their trials and would-be executions. Here’s a transcript of the relevant part of Neil Gaiman and Douglas McKinnon’s commentary on episode 6.

Neil: I love the idea of what Crowley’s idea of Aziraphale is. I think Crowley’s idea of Aziraphale is a lot more heroic, and standing up to everybody, than Aziraphale’s idea of Aziraphale. Just as Aziraphale’s idea of Crowley is somebody who can be flippant and insouciant when faced with the monsters of Hell.

Douglas: He [Aziraphale] is a lot more determined in this incarnation, isn’t he?

Neil: Yeah. They’re each probably rather better at dealing with things than the other one is in reality, but they think that’s what the other one is probably like. I love that.

My boyfriend has been struggling with something called Candidiasis (Candida) which is an intense yeast infection in the microbiome lining his intestines. It’s a blood disorder, because the toxins can get into the bloodstream, which effects his cognitive abilities, gives him chronic fatigue, and basically mimics similar symptoms to MS. 

It’s actually the same type of yeast that causes yeast infections. 

In severe cases, Candida can negatively impact vital parts of the body, including the blood, heart and brain – ultimately leading to hospitalization and, rarely, death.

Candida cannot be cured by taking anti-fungal or antibiotic medications because the yeast grows back before the other good  microbes can grow back.  The only thing that helps to alleviate his symptoms is is to eat a strict diet that avoids most carbs and refined sugars.

He cannot be accommodated at his university because he does not have the paperwork to prove that this affects his life. In order to prove that it does, Ben needs to take a blood test. However, it is very expensive for him and his family. (He lives with his father, who works on commission- so money making is difficult) Health insurance does not cover it, and eating off of the diet will cause the Candida to release toxins into his blood that affect him cognitively, gives him fatigue, and severe gastrointetinal discomfort. The cognitive effects include extreme difficulty concentrating and speaking, memory loss, and headaches characterized by sharp pains.

Ben needs the funds to get tested by March 6. He only needs $300
