First of all, thank you so much to everyone who voted! There were so many votes, and they really helped me decide which collection to work on next.
Based on your comments and votes, it seems you liked all three ideas, but the Sunwoven and Charm'd collections received the majority of your votes. It was neck and neck for a while, but we finally have a winner, the Charm'd Collection!
So, I started working on the next part! Reading through your comments gave me a lot of great ideas, and I decided to make another outdoor set, but this time with more of a focus on furniture. Then I had the idea to include something for kids because my main goal with this collection is to create a lived-in family home.
While looking through the kids' items in the game, I came across the tent from the Dream Home Decorator pack and thought it would be fun to create a little playhouse that uses the tent's functionality, so kids can sleep and play inside.
Then I went down a Pinterest rabbit hole and found so many inspiring photos that I started experimenting with the shape and footprint of the playhouse, which led me to a new idea. I wanted to keep the functionality of the tent while also making the inside usable, so you can place your own items inside and let kids do more than what the original tent allows.
After a lot of testing, I came to the conclusion that it was actually doable, so I started working on the playhouse. I went through about three different layouts before ending up with the version you see here. It was important to me to have a large opening so you can clearly see inside, while also keeping the two spots where the tent's original animations play (the two kids playing together) completely free.
Long story short, this set is going to focus entirely on kids' items! Unfortunately, some of them will require packs instead of being base game compatible, because there are so few interactive objects for kids in the base game. Right now, I'm planning to make an activity table, a slide (Adventure Awaits), a swing (most likely using the Seasons one, since I think many people own that pack), and a more normal-looking kiddie pool (also using Seasons).
So that's what I've been working on and what I'll be working on for the next few days as well because this playhouse is a pretty big project. As you can see, I already have the exterior texture finished, but the interior is still needs to be done, and I still need to add the floor. There's definitely a lot of work ahead, but I'm really happy I stumbled across this idea. It's been such an exciting project to work on, and I hope I can fill the inside with enough little details to make it every child's dream playhouse.
And I almost forgot to mention but I WILL do all ideas I listed in the poll just a little later! But I wanted to clarify that I love Sunwoven and I really want to finish it too!
