In the same sort of post-game universe you have going where they are all living at Gihun’s motel.

I thought it would be really funny having Inho hide, hiss and try and hit at Junho or Gihun at first, He’s still Inho but in a cat brain now I suppose, only for Inho to just randomly come up on the sofa later and sit on one of their laps.

Trying to give Inho medicine would be even more of a pain than it already was lmfao, they’d have to try every which way only to just end up having to force it down his throat themselves😭 which would definitely lead to a long sulk.

Also Inho licking Gihun’s face with his scratchy tongue to get Gihun’s attention, much to his annoyance. Inho would also def butt his head against both of them affectionately from how you write human Inho! :3

Also maybe Inho trying to lick Junhos scalp like how a cat grooms it’s kittens or siblings hehe

I don’t know if Inho would be a very vocal cat or not. But I think the first time they hear him purr would be rlly sweet.

Last idea I had is Inho making a cat loaf on either Junho or Gihun who’s asleep (Inho sat on them when they were asleep so they weren’t aware of him being there) and idk maybe the phone ringing woke them up so they immediately race up to get it and it chucks Inho off and sends a screeching mess careening across the floor😭😭

I actually don’t know how long I planned in my head for Inho to be a cat for. maybe a week just because I don’t think all this could happen in a day and it would be funnier that way.

If you ever decide to write this I’m gonna be so excited to see how you decide to write them, your writing of fluff and crack is always so good.

He's also been an inspiration to me as a father. He used to carry his kids' pictures on the red carpet. He's included them in so much of his life and work, especially now that they're adults. His son Jack was the voice of Val for large portions of his documentary film that came out a few years ago. And then there's this from Val's memoir - "Every month nowadays it feels like my life is completely new. Feels good. Except if I had my way my two grown children would live downstairs and I would sleep in my living room. I miss them every hour, even though I live so close to my daughter I can practically yell her name and she could hear me. I have to give them their space, but I don't want to. I want to smother them and not care that I might ruin their lives. They are my greatest joy, my proudest achievement, even though it is painfully clear I have just about zero to do with their character."

In his final newsletter, from March 20, he said, "I'm the luckiest guy in the world." I think he really was.

I've been trying all day to try to figure out what to say about Val - about what he meant to me, to film, to artists everywhere - and everything feels inadequate.

But sometimes inadequate is all you have, so let's go.

Real Genius and Willow were two of the only films my sister and I could agree on growing up. My uncle's favorite movie was Top Gun, so I saw that one a lot growing up too. My mom loved The Doors, my step-dad was obsessed with Heat, my dad could probably quote Tombstone word for word - Val was a huge part of my childhood, even before I grew to love him in his own right and appreciated the artistry and uniqueness of his acting.

And, for a period of about two years, not that long after I graduated grad school and moved to LA, I was part of a publicity team that worked on about eight or so of his films. Not all of them were great (but a few were), but I got to know Val as a person. We weren't friends, but we were friendly. And what I remember most about those years is how kind he was. How weird and delightful his sense of humor was. How he remembered people's names and how curious he was about everyone, how curious he was about life. How willing he was to talk about the craft of acting, and the art of film-making. I remember how proud he was of his kids. God, he fucking loved talking about them. I'll remember that most of all.

Yes, of course, I'm going to miss the actor. The icon. The legend who gave us so many memorable roles, and played such a huge part in my life, and was responsible for some of my favorite characters in some of my favorite films. But mostly, I'm going to miss the kind, funny, weird artist who showed a girl new to the industry that it was possible to be an icon and a legend and still be a good person.
