I was just thinking of drawing Chizuru with the LIās younger self. I chose Okita for his childhood story particularly.
If they were to say something to the anotherās younger self, what would it be? š¤
Just noticed while comparing Chizuruās kimono color with the cg that itās not entirely yellow but half pink.
Iām not good at drawing kids. They usually become a cursed chibi or something so I decided to hide their faces. Surprisingly, it makes the whole scene looks much better. Weak point isnāt so weak after all!

Soooooo, yeah, both of them have a rough childhood. Okita lost his parents. Abandoned by his sister. Got bullied by older kids. Living on his own with no one to trust. While Chizuru also lost her family. Has Amnesia. Got bullied by the her friends in the neighborhood. By the time they havenāt even reach 10 yrs old. Evenso, they still stand strong and finally meet each other.
At first, the first pic, I only focus on the gloomy little Souji so I blindly draw a bitter expression on Chizuruās face. But then I felt wrong. Rather than feeling sorry, she must be glad how strong he is and how much he has change. Same goes to Okita.
Iām not saying if they say something or stay silence, I didnāt care much about words. However, while drawing, I have their grown up voices saying āYou did well, Souji-san/Chizuruā in my mind idk.
