Golia needed a redo. Gave him more swamp like aspects such as Cypress Swamp root legs, vegetative hair for better camo when submerged, freckles, sloped web-like pixie ears, and longer/sharper/stronger claws used for killing, rummaging, and scavenging. He’s also bigger than before. Being part ogre he attributed exponential height, standing at about 5′4.

The Collide - The geological location where the individual realms of the A’lufde and Humans merged during ‘The Rift’, a cataclysmic event where two black holes became one, destroying and/or altering worlds.

A’lufde - The native term to Ell Hielle’s race. Humans typically call them Lunar for their nocturnal lifestyle.

we all start somewhere–even the best cosplayers around! so if your costume isn’t flawless don’t fret!

just because you don’t think you look enough like a character doesn’t mean you shouldn’t cosplay them anyway!

you don’t have to buy brand-name wigs if you can’t afford ‘em–it’s pretty easy to find wigs of pretty decent quality for a fraction of the price on ebay and amazon if you know where to look!

if ANYONE tries to shit on your good time, fuck ‘em. they’re just being dicks and you don’t deserve that!

as hard as it may be (and believe me, it can be HARD!), try not to compare your costumes to those worn by people with more experience. it’s all a matter of practice and i’m sure you’re doing great! 

don’t be discouraged if things don’t come out the way you want the first time–practice makes perfect!

did i mention having fun? because seriously, cosplay should be about having fun and loving your favorite characters enough to dress up as them, so don’t let anything stop you from having a great time!
