-personally i've always thought his full firstname was Remiel bc i like the idea that his childhood nickname was Mimi. he prefers Remy, though, Remiel is his Im In Trouble name. technically, Remy is his chosen name since he doesn't know his birth name, and even if he did, he probably wouldnt use it. Can and will make up extended versions of his name, though.
-he grows his hair out longer the more time hes been on the x-men. it was short and choppy when he first joined bc he was on the streets and probably just took a knife to it, but he starts growing it out. Wavy hair texture, loves to sweep it back with a hand or flip it over his shoulder, especially when its wet. He ties it back on his boy days, keeps it down on her girl days, and puts it in a loose bun on their neutral days.
-Remy is she/he/they all the time, even when his gender doesnt match the pronoun, though Gambit the professional thief persona is a he/they/it. only Bella Donna and Rogue can she/her Gambit.
-does he know what genderfluid is? probably not, he just says hes a bit of everything. describes his gender in increasingly flowery ways until people stop asking
-has very specific dysphoria about his legs. he likes them when their covered or hes a boy and wearing shorts. but bare legs with a dress, or bare legs when they're neutral? he can't stand it. always wears tights or leggings under her dresses. tragically, as much as she wants to like them, she hates leg slits in dresses. she is a mid-thigh to knee length dress girlie.
-only wears bows when tying their hair on their neutral days. best example of the style i mean is like. susie deltarune chapter 5. that kind of half-up half-down with a bow. uses a leather cord on his boy days, for the Aesthetic.
-he has let many of his daughters-and-not-daughters do his hair over the years. Jubilee, Laura, Becca, Sofia. he doesn't like single braids on the back because he thinks it makes him look too much like Jean-Luc, so he prefers braids on the sides or on the front.
-For some reason my brain has decided this man hates bare feet. can't stand them, squicks him out. he is a Sock Man. loves to pair his dresses with stockings if hes not wearing tights. fucking loves a chunky heel in a shoe, though, even his boy stuff. hes already too damn tall but he WILL make himself taller at every oppurtunity. CAN walk in non-chunky heels, can probably do parkour in them, but he loves a chunky heel.
-Rogue uses alll the terms for him. girlfriend/wife, boyfriend/husband, partner, baby, sugar, honey. they get into petname competitions by making up the most godawful, sickly sweet ones they can think of. usually ends with increasingly dirty ones until someone tells them to get a room or one of them gets too flustered. the first time they had one of these competitions, very early after Gambit came out, Rogue won by calling Gambit her pretty babygirl and Gambit had to tap out because he was grinning too much.
-Monsieur or Madame LeBeau to his students. can, has, and will wear a skirt to class, though Charles has politely requested he wear skirts that match the uniform code. can and will also teach a danger room lesson in a skirt or dress (with leggings/shorts underneath, of course).
-no matter how shes presenting, she always has at least three layers of jewellery. layering accessories and fabrics is her favourite thing, especially with cajun fashion. menace during strip poker because she can and will do each necklace indiviudally.
-loves lingerie. on themself, on Rogue, on both. they often swap clothes, both lingerie and regular clothes, because their roughly the same size clothes-wise. Gambit has slightly longer legs and Rogue has thicker hips but it still works. they also share croptops
