❛ annie? ❜ georgia thought for a moment—a brief glimpse of the old women who had pulled her aside as she was walking down the streets to tell her not to trust anyone and keep her kids as close as possible. that had worried georgia for a moment, and she couldn't get the fear she saw in the lady's eyes out of her head. she had managed after a few days, but now that tim was here bringing her up, she felt that feeling twist inside her again, ❛ yeah, i know her... she made her introductions when i first came to town... she's an odd one that's for certain. ❜ georgia returned her smile as if her felt her face was without it for too long, ❛ what about her? she givin' you a hard time? ❜
