Tras competir contra su hermano de sangre (Aleix) en MotoGP durante cerca de una década, en esta nueva etapa de su vida Pol se ha convertido en una especie de "hermano mayor" de Dani Holgado, con el que empezó a trabajar con la temporada 2025 ya en marcha. ¿Cómo se puede definir exactamente su rol? Él mismo nos lo explica: «Lo puedes llamar como quieras: coach, manager, amigo, asistente... Le puedes poner muchos nombres. Pero para mí, la que más necesita ahora Dani y con la que más me identifico es como un amigo. Incluso también, por qué no, como un hermano mayor. Dani vino en Austin, me comentó que no estaba bien con su mánager y que necesitaba esa figura. Tardé un poquito en pensármelo, porque creo que aún ahora no me veo capacitado para ser un mánager, no creo que sea mi punto fuerte. Pero sí que vi que le podía echar una mano en cuanto a trabajo diario. Él está viviendo ahora en Andorra y cuando yo llegué de Austin se lo expliqué a mi mujer, porque sabía que me iba a llevar mucho tiempo. Se lo pregunté y me dijo: "Ostras, tú pasaste por esta situación, viniste a Andorra, estabas solo... Échale un cable y mira a ver en qué le puedes ayudar". Ahí empecé a trabajar con él; más que en el tema contratos, de una manera amigable, de ir a entrenar juntos, de entender qué era lo que necesitaba, y me di cuenta que necesita poco. Lo único que necesitaba era un amigo con el que entrenar, ir a las carreras y sentirse apoyado, y poder hablar de cosas técnicas con alguien», cuenta a MOTORBIKE MAGAZINE.

He's living in Andorra now, and when I arrived from Austin, I explained it to my wife because I knew it was going to take up a lot of my time. I asked her about it, and she said, "Wow, you went through this yourself, you came to Andorra, you were all alone... Give him a hand and see how you can help him." That's how I started working with him; more in a friendly way than on contracts, going to train together, understanding what he needed, and I realized he didn't need much. All he needed was a friend to train with, go to races with, feel supported, and be able to talk about technical things with someone," he tells MOTORBIKE MAGAZINE.
