Before Meetup - Tania, Amy, and Tails are still traveling looking for Tania's brother Nicky, with no one knowing Nicky is Sonic, and Team Dark is still investigating and chasing after Tania.

The most they know about Dragonfly is the technical stuff, that she was kidnapped just like the others, her name is Tania, she's probably not hostile but she is a dangerous weapon, is from a town that's been practically wiped off the map, and seems to have a family that either died or are long gone into slavery.

How exactly did they find out Nicky is Sonic?

Ah this is actually a difficult one as I don't actually have that fully fleshed out yet. I have multiple scenarios in mind and haven't decided which one I like best.

Here's some summaries of those ideas:

1.) Before Sonic 1, Nicky abandoned his name out of grief and guilt and of course later meeting Tails, the one that gives Sonic his name. When Tails was digging through the things Sonic had stored away in the Tornado, he found the old, slightly torn up sweater and Sonic just gives it to him as it no longer fits him and he just can't bear to wear it again. Much later on, while Tania is explaining what she can remember, as she's been gradually regaining the memories of her family's appearances, Tails remembers the sweater and that something sounding very similar is in his closet back home. Tails and Amy begin to suspect things on their way there and once Tania sees the old sweater and breaks down, the two's suspicions are confirmed as soon as Sonic enters, having stuck around the home while everyone's on their own adventures.

2.) Nicky still abandons his name and is later named Sonic, but of course much later Sonic tags along with Team Dark and is acting very suspicious when the name "Tania" as well as "Parlouzer" comes up until they put together that the information they have and the old photo they found of Tania and her family features Sonic as well, just when he went by Nicky. When they finally chase down Tania Sonic is with them and the two finally meet, completely overriding Team Dark's self-imposed "mission" of tracking down Dragonfly. Really I just want Sonic and Rouge to meet up and Rouge to become suspicious..

Hey maybe I can make it so everyone's suspicious of him cause he's been lying and avoiding any questions about his past the entire time he's been friends with these people.

There are others I have but they're like basic thoughts I sometimes think up that just kinda mean nothing really

IT'S. FUCKIN. DONE. This comic is centered around how Tania escaped the facility and the humans using her as Dragonfly. Understand, she WAS NOT winning that fight and only escaped because of a surprise attack she wasn't in control of (the device in Rouge's hands is voice activated and it interpreted her words as "explode to end the fight". this also means that if she wasn't cut off from saying "stop", Dragonfly genuinely would've stopped) and Shadow only backed off because he knew beforehand that Dragonfly wasn't doing this by choice, only fighting because she was being ordered to, and Rouge was probably seriously hurt in that explosion.

The ocs being freed are Aurora belonging to @cat-dragron, Checkers belonging @dragonradiozone, and Alyssa belonging to @solarroseart
