On this day December 11, 1995 Morrissey's single 'Sunny' Was released with B sides 'Black Eyed Susan' and 'Swallow On My Neck'. Happy Birthday to this great single! XD

Several of the songs on the new LP [Meat Is Murder] seem to have a much more direct and stronger narrative line than on the first LP... "Yes, they do. That's certainly there. I didn't really have any intention of being misunderstood with the words on this LP. A lot of people wrote about the first LP and they said things that were very poetic and very interesting and absolutely inaccurate. So I just felt that on this LP people should really know which hammer I'm trying to nail, as it were." (1985)

Happy Birthday to the cover star of The Queen is Dead (1986): French actor Alain Delon was born 8 November 1935. The picture is a still from L'Insoumis, a movie directed by Alain Cavalier in 1964. (After The Smiths had broke up, Morrissey told that he'd thrown away all personal memorabilia connected with the group with the exception of a letter from Delon about this particular album sleeve.)

Morrissey's mum has fallen ill he has returned to England and has postponed his shows  until the 29th. Let us remember that without Miss. Dwyer there would be no Steven Patrick Morrissey. We owe her the world. She IS family. Lets please pray and give our thoughts and wishes to her and her son whom we love so dearly. Love your mum, love the Mozfather's mum.
