We are reading Cap v1 #176-183 (and Avengers v1 #131 for the Nomad cameo) but this is all spinning out of the events of Secret Empire (original flavor) in which Steve watches Richard Nixon betray the entire country and then commit suicide -- if you want to read all of that, you can start with Cap #169.

And of course, Steve - fresh out of his own hell of having his life, face, and public image completely fucked by Kobik and the totally-not-a-Nazi Captain Hydra Supreme - has also seen fit to waltz right into Tony's life again. With him, he's brought a new possibility of things between them being the 'more' that they have never talked about.
It is these fractures through his life that drive him to Reed Richards’ doorstep. Reed's doorstep, in turn, leads him to an opportunity; a glimpse into things that never were. The Bridge may or may not help him find the answer to the question...
