Memento Mori [Redux]

Today I wanted to create an image which portrayed sadness – specifically that of fleeting time and how hopeless one can feel occasionally. To be honest, I wasn't sad, but the time I spent on lighting this situation made it appear as if I was.  It felt like minutes for the self-timer to go off, and my eyes were tearing up horribly. It only made it that much more convincing.
