9 rooms, or how I prefer to call it in native language "Хтоническая хрущевка", which means basically chthonic postsoviet apartments. Oil, yes.
I spent nine months painting this! But even though it took me longer, the crystal guys were still more complex, this one simply had more details. I arranged the photos in reverse order - from complete painting (to catch your eye, of course) to sketches on paper. For the drawing stage I used white pastel.
The idea is that there's something weird gong on each floor. I can tell you about each one, so if you don't understand something, just ask!
My favourite room is the one with the cats in the kitchen :3
